Setup
Connecting to an Amplifier/Receiver
- Ensure both the CD player and your amplifier/receiver are powered off.
- Connect the RCA audio cables (not included) from the LINE OUT jacks (L and R) on the rear of the CD-P650-B to the corresponding audio input jacks on your amplifier/receiver (e.g., CD IN, AUX IN).
- For digital audio, connect an optical cable (not included) from the DIGITAL OUT (OPTICAL) port on the CD-P650-B to a digital optical input on your amplifier/receiver.
Power Connection
Connect the power cable to the AC inlet on the rear of the unit and then to a standard wall outlet.
Remote Control Battery Installation
The remote control requires two AA batteries. Open the battery compartment on the back of the remote control, insert the batteries according to the polarity markings, and close the compartment.
Operating Instructions
Basic CD Playback
- Press the STANDBY/ON button to power on the unit.
- Press the Eject button (
) to open the disc tray.
- Place a CD (CD, CD-R/RW, or MP3 disc) with the label side up into the disc tray.
- Press the Eject button again to close the disc tray. The unit will read the disc.
- Press the Play/Pause button (
) to begin playback.
- Use the Skip/Search buttons (

) to navigate between tracks.
- Press the Stop button (
) to stop playback.
The unit supports Repeat (One, All, A-B), Shuffle, and 32-track Program Play functions, accessible via the remote control.
USB Playback
- Connect a USB memory device containing MP3 files to the iPod/USB port on the front panel.
- Press the CD/USB button to switch to USB mode.
- Use the playback controls (Play, Stop, Skip) to manage your MP3 files.
iPod/iPhone Digital Interface

- Connect a USB memory device to the iPod/USB port.
- Insert an audio CD into the disc tray.
- Press the CD/USB button to ensure the unit is in CD mode.
- Select the track(s) you wish to record. You can choose to record a single track or the entire disc.
- Press the RECORD button. The recording will begin.
- To stop recording, press the STOP button.
Note: MP3 recording from AUX input to USB memory device is also supported.
Headphone Output
Connect headphones to the PHONES jack on the front panel. Adjust the listening volume using the LEVEL control knob next to the headphone jack.
Maintenance
Cleaning the Unit
- Wipe the exterior of the unit with a soft, dry cloth.
- Do not use abrasive cleaners, waxes, or solvents as they may damage the finish.
- Ensure the unit is unplugged before cleaning.
Disc Handling
- Always hold discs by their edges.
- Keep discs clean and free from scratches. Use a soft, lint-free cloth to wipe discs from the center outwards if necessary.
- Store discs in their cases when not in use.
