Before First Use

Operating Instructions

1. Placing the Ceramic Pot(s)

Place the desired ceramic pot (either the 5.6L main pot or the 2.4L split pot) into the heating base unit. Ensure it is seated properly. The ceramic pots are oven-safe, offering additional flexibility for recipes that require initial searing or finishing in the oven.

2. Cooking with the 5.6L Main Pot

1. Add your ingredients to the 5.6-liter ceramic pot.
2. Place the glass lid securely on the pot.
3. Plug the slow cooker into a suitable electrical outlet.
4. Press the 'MODE' button to select your desired cooking temperature: 'HIGH' for faster cooking or 'LOW' for slower cooking.
5. Use the '+' and '-' buttons to set the cooking time. The digital timer allows you to program the cooking duration.
6. The slow cooker will begin cooking. Once the set cooking time has elapsed, the unit will automatically switch to the 'KEEP WARM' setting.

3. Cooking with the 2.4L Split Pot

The 2.4-liter split ceramic pot allows you to cook two different dishes simultaneously. Follow the same steps as for the 5.6L main pot, ensuring ingredients are placed in each section of the split pot and the lid is properly positioned.

4. Setting the Digital Timer

The digital control panel features a programmable countdown timer. After selecting 'HIGH' or 'LOW' temperature, use the '+' and '-' buttons to adjust the cooking time in 30-minute increments, up to a maximum of 20 hours. The display will show the remaining cooking time.

5. Using the Keep Warm Function

Once the programmed cooking time is complete, the slow cooker will automatically switch to the 'KEEP WARM' setting. This function maintains the food at a safe serving temperature without further cooking. The 'KEEP WARM' cycle typically lasts for up to 4 hours, after which the appliance will turn off. You can also manually select 'KEEP WARM' if desired.
