5. Operating Instructions
This section guides you through the process of using your SucceBuy Electric Grain Mill.
- Prepare Ingredients: Ensure your ingredients are dry. Cut larger items into smaller pieces if necessary to facilitate grinding. The maximum capacity is 1000g.
- Load the Mill: Open the lid and carefully pour the ingredients into the grinding chamber. Do not overfill; ensure there is enough space for the blades to rotate freely.
- Secure the Lid: Close the lid firmly and engage the buckle latches on both sides to ensure it is securely sealed.
- Set Grinding Time: Use the red time adjustment knob on the control panel to set the desired grinding duration (0-5 minutes). Shorter times will result in coarser grinds, while longer times will produce finer powders.
- Start Grinding: Press the power switch to the "ON" position. The mill will begin grinding.
- Swing Operation (for finer results): For optimal and uniform grinding, especially for very fine powders, gently hold the handle and swing the machine body back and forth during operation. This helps distribute the material evenly.
- Monitor: Observe the grinding process. If the mill stops unexpectedly, check the overload protection button (refer to Section 2).
- Stop Grinding: Once the set time elapses, the mill will automatically stop. You can also manually stop it by pressing the power switch to "OFF".
- Unload Powder: Wait for the blades to come to a complete stop. Unlatch the buckles and open the lid. The swing-type design allows you to easily tilt the machine to pour out the ground powder into a container.
- Cool Down: After each grinding cycle, allow the machine to cool down for 5-10 minutes before starting another cycle to prevent overheating and prolong motor life.

6. Maintenance and Cleaning
Regular cleaning and maintenance will ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your grain mill.
- Always Unplug: Before any cleaning or maintenance, ensure the mill is unplugged from the power outlet.
- Clean Grinding Chamber: Use the provided cleaning brush to remove any residual powder from the grinding chamber and around the blades. For stubborn residue, a slightly damp cloth can be used, but ensure the chamber is completely dry before next use.
- Clean Exterior: Wipe the exterior of the mill with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or immerse the main unit in water.
- Blade Care: The blades are sharp. Handle them with care. If blades become dull or damaged, they can be replaced using the spare blades provided. Refer to the user manual for specific instructions on blade replacement if needed.
- Storage: Store the mill in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and moisture, when not in use.
- Carbon Brush Replacement: The motor's carbon brushes may need replacement after extended use. If the motor performance significantly degrades, consult a qualified technician or contact customer support for guidance on replacing the carbon brushes.
7. Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your grain mill, refer to the following table for common problems and their solutions:
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Mill does not start. | Not plugged in; power switch off; overload protection activated. | Ensure power cord is securely plugged in. Turn power switch to "ON". If overload protection is activated, allow to cool for 10 minutes, then press the reset button. |
| Motor stops during operation. | Overload protection activated due to excessive load or continuous operation. | Unplug the mill. Reduce the amount of material in the chamber. Allow the motor to cool for at least 10 minutes, then press the overload protection reset button and restart. |
| Grinding results are not fine enough. | Insufficient grinding time; material too coarse; blades are dull. | Increase grinding time. Ensure ingredients are dry. Consider replacing the grinding blades if they appear dull. |
| Lid does not close securely. | Material obstructing the seal; lid or buckles misaligned. | Clear any material from the rim of the grinding chamber. Ensure the lid is correctly aligned before engaging the buckles. |
| Unusual noise or vibration. | Loose components; foreign object in chamber; motor issue. | Immediately turn off and unplug the mill. Check for any foreign objects. If the issue persists, contact customer support. |
