Setup
1. Charging the Earphone
- Connect the provided charging cable to the earphone's charging port.
- Connect the other end of the cable to a USB power source (e.g., computer, wall adapter).
- The LED indicator will show the charging status. A full charge typically takes approximately 1-2 hours.
- Disconnect the earphone once fully charged.
2. Pairing with a Bluetooth Device
- Ensure the earphone is fully charged and turned off.
- Press and hold the multi-function button on the earphone until the LED indicator flashes red and blue alternately, indicating pairing mode.
- On your Bluetooth-enabled device (smartphone, tablet, etc.), go to the Bluetooth settings and enable Bluetooth.
- Search for available devices. You should see "HOCO ES7" or a similar name in the list.
- Select "HOCO ES7" to connect. Once paired, the LED indicator will flash blue slowly, and you may hear a confirmation tone.
- If prompted for a password, enter "0000".
Operating Instructions
Power On/Off
- Power On: Press and hold the multi-function button for approximately 3 seconds until the blue LED flashes.
- Power Off: Press and hold the multi-function button for approximately 5 seconds until the red LED flashes and then turns off.
Music Playback
- Play/Pause: Press the multi-function button once.
- Next Track: Press and hold the Volume Up (+) button.
- Previous Track: Press and hold the Volume Down (-) button.
- Volume Up: Short press the Volume Up (+) button.
- Volume Down: Short press the Volume Down (-) button.
Call Management
- Answer/End Call: Press the multi-function button once.
- Reject Call: Press and hold the multi-function button for approximately 2 seconds.
- Redial Last Number: Double-press the multi-function button.
Maintenance
- Clean the earphones regularly with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.
- Avoid exposing the earphones to extreme temperatures, humidity, or direct sunlight.
- Store the earphones in a cool, dry place when not in use.
- Do not attempt to disassemble or modify the earphones, as this will void the warranty.
Troubleshooting
- Earphone does not power on:
Ensure the earphone is fully charged. Connect it to a power source and allow it to charge for at least 30 minutes before attempting to power on again.
- Cannot pair with device:
Make sure the earphone is in pairing mode (red and blue LED flashing alternately). Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your device and it is within range (typically 10 meters). Try turning off and on both the earphone and your device's Bluetooth.
- No sound or poor sound quality:
Check the volume levels on both the earphone and your connected device. Ensure the earphone is properly paired and connected. Try re-pairing the earphone with your device.
- Intermittent connection:
Ensure there are no obstructions between the earphone and your device. Move closer to your device. Avoid environments with strong Wi-Fi or other wireless interference.
