Setup Instructions

  1. Unpack Components: Carefully remove all components from the packaging.
  2. Connect Antennas: Screw the four antennas (A, B, C, D) securely into their corresponding ports on the rear of the receiver. Ensure they are positioned vertically for optimal signal reception.
  3. Connect Power: Connect the supplied AC-DC power adapter to the receiver's Power Input port and then plug it into a suitable electrical outlet.
  4. Connect Audio Outputs:
    • For individual channel control, connect XLR cables from the receiver's XLR Output A, B, C, and D to the corresponding input channels on your audio mixer or amplifier.
    • Alternatively, for a combined output, connect a 1/4" audio cable from the receiver's Mix Output to a single input on your audio mixer or amplifier.
  5. Prepare Transmitters: Open the battery compartment on each beltpack transmitter and insert two fresh AA batteries, observing correct polarity. Close the compartment securely.
  6. Connect Headset Microphones: Plug each headset microphone into the input jack on its respective beltpack transmitter.
  7. Power On: Turn on the power switch on the receiver. The LCD display should illuminate. Then, turn on each beltpack transmitter.
  8. Synchronize Channels: The system features automatic transmitter setup. Follow the instructions on the receiver's display or refer to the quick start guide for specific steps to synchronize the transmitter and receiver channels. Ensure each transmitter is paired with a unique receiver channel.

Operating Instructions

  1. Power On/Off: Use the power buttons on the receiver and each beltpack transmitter to turn the units on or off. Always power on the receiver before the transmitters and power off transmitters before the receiver.
  2. Channel Selection: The receiver's backlit LCD display shows RF level, AF level, Channel Frequency, and mute status. If interference is encountered, you can select a different frequency for each channel. Refer to the receiver's controls for changing channels and re-synchronizing with the transmitters.
  3. Volume Control: The receiver has individual volume controls for each of the four channels (A, B, C, D). Adjust these to achieve the desired audio level for each microphone. Also, adjust the input gain on your mixer/amplifier as needed.
  4. Microphone Placement: Position the headset microphone securely on the user's head, ensuring the microphone element is close to the mouth (typically 1-2 inches) to capture clear audio and minimize background noise.
  5. Range: Maintain the operating distance within the specified range of up to 300 feet (80 meters) for optimal performance. Obstacles and other wireless devices can affect range and signal stability.
