Setup and Installation
Proper installation is crucial for the safe and effective operation of the STC-9200 controller. Ensure all power is disconnected before proceeding with wiring.
Mounting
The controller is designed for panel mounting. The perforation dimensions are 71x29 mm. Ensure adequate space for ventilation and wiring connections.
Wiring Diagram
Refer to the wiring diagram below for correct connections. Strictly distinguish the connections interfaces of relay, sensor, and power from one another. Sensor connections and power wires should be kept at a proper distance to avoid interference.

Figure 2: Wiring diagram for the STC-9200 controller. This diagram illustrates connections for compressor, defrost, fan, and two NTC sensors, along with the 110VAC power input.
- Power Supply: Connect 110VAC, 50/60Hz to the designated terminals.
- Compressor Relay: Connect the compressor load to the compressor relay terminals (Contact rating: 8A at 220Vac).
- Defrosting Relay: Connect the defrosting heater load to the defrosting relay terminals (Contact rating: 8A at 220Vac).
- Fan Relay: Connect the fan load to the fan relay terminals (Contact rating: 8A at 220Vac).
- NTC Sensors: Connect the two NTC temperature sensors to their respective terminals. One sensor is typically for storage temperature, and the other for defrosting.

Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and accurate performance of your STC-9200 temperature controller.
- Cleaning: Periodically wipe the control panel with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents. Ensure no liquid enters the device.
- Sensor Inspection: Check the temperature sensors for any physical damage or corrosion. Ensure they are securely connected and positioned correctly for accurate readings.
- Ventilation: Ensure the controller's ventilation openings are not obstructed to prevent overheating.
- Wiring Check: Annually inspect all wiring connections for tightness and signs of wear or damage.
Troubleshooting
This section addresses common issues you might encounter with the STC-9200 controller.
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Display shows "HHH" or "LLL" | Sensor error (open circuit or short circuit) or temperature out of range. | Check sensor connections. Replace sensor if damaged. Ensure temperature is within -50 to 90 ℃ range. |
| Controller not powering on | No power supply or incorrect wiring. | Verify 110VAC power supply. Check wiring according to the diagram. |
| Compressor/Fan/Defrost not activating | Incorrect parameter settings, faulty relay, or load issue. | Review set temperature and differential settings. Check if the corresponding indicator light is on. Inspect wiring to the load. |
| Inaccurate temperature reading | Sensor placement, damaged sensor, or interference. | Ensure sensor is correctly placed and not exposed to direct airflow or heat sources. Check sensor for damage. Keep sensor wires away from power lines. |
If the problem persists after attempting these solutions, please contact customer support.
