Important Safety Information

- Do not exceed the maximum weight capacity of 125 lbs (56.7 kg).
- Use appropriate tools and hardware for installation. If unsure, consult a qualified professional.
- Keep children and pets away during installation.
- Periodically check all fasteners to ensure they remain secure.
Package Contents
Verify that all components are present before beginning installation. The package should contain:
- Peerless-AV Heavy Duty Universal Projector Mount assembly
- Mounting hardware kit (various screws, washers, etc.)
- Installation instructions (this manual)
Note: Specific hardware may vary. Refer to the included hardware bag for exact contents.
Setup and Installation
Follow these steps to properly install your projector mount. It is recommended to have two people for installation due to the weight and size of projectors.
Step 1: Attach Mount to Projector
- Identify the mounting holes on your projector. The Peerless-AV mount features six universal legs for compatibility with various projector patterns.
- Align the mount's legs with the projector's mounting holes. Adjust the length of the legs as needed to fit your projector.
- Secure the mount to the projector using the appropriate screws and washers from the hardware kit. Ensure all connections are tight and secure.

The image highlights the robust construction and the adjustability of the mounting arms.
Step 2: Install Ceiling Plate (if applicable)
If using a separate ceiling plate or extension column, install it according to its specific instructions. Ensure it is securely fastened to a structural support capable of holding the total weight.
Step 3: Mount Projector Assembly to Ceiling Plate
- Utilize the Hook-and-Hang™ feature. This design allows you to temporarily hang the projector assembly onto the ceiling plate, providing a large landing area for easier and safer attachment.
- Once hung, secure the projector assembly to the ceiling plate using the provided bolts and nuts. Tighten all fasteners firmly to prevent any movement.
Operating and Adjustments
The Peerless-AV Heavy Duty Projector Mount offers precise adjustments to optimize your projector's image alignment.
- Tilt Adjustment: Loosen the tilt adjustment knob(s) on the side of the mount. Adjust the projector vertically to achieve the desired tilt angle. Tighten the knob(s) to lock the position.
- Roll Adjustment: Loosen the roll adjustment knob(s). Rotate the projector slightly left or right to correct any horizontal tilt. Tighten the knob(s) to lock the position.
- Swivel Adjustment: Loosen the swivel mechanism. Rotate the entire projector assembly horizontally to align the image with your screen. Tighten the mechanism to lock the position.
All tilt, roll, and swivel features are lockable to prevent unintended shifts in image alignment.
Maintenance
- Cleaning: Wipe the mount with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Periodic Inspection: Regularly check all mounting screws and adjustment knobs to ensure they are tight and secure. Over time, vibrations or environmental factors can cause fasteners to loosen.
- Weight Capacity: Do not place additional weight on the projector or mount beyond its specified capacity.
Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Projector image is crooked. | Roll or tilt adjustment not properly set or locked. | Adjust the roll and tilt mechanisms as described in the "Operating and Adjustments" section and ensure they are locked. |
| Mount feels unstable. | Loose fasteners or improper installation. | Verify all screws and bolts connecting the mount to the projector and the ceiling are securely tightened. Ensure the ceiling structure is adequate. |
| Cannot achieve desired image position. | Adjustment limits reached or incorrect initial placement. | Review the projector's manual for its lens shift capabilities. Re-evaluate the mount's position if adjustments are insufficient. |
