5. Setup and Installation

5.1 Inverter Overview

5.2 Connecting to a 12V DC Power Source

1. Preparation: Ensure the vehicle engine is off and the inverter's power switch is in the OFF position.
2. Battery Connections: Connect the red (positive) battery cable to the positive (+) terminal of the inverter and then to the positive (+) terminal of the 12V battery. Connect the black (negative) battery cable to the negative (-) terminal of the inverter and then to the negative (-) terminal of the 12V battery. Ensure connections are tight and secure.
3. Grounding: Connect the inverter's grounding terminal to a good chassis ground in your vehicle.

5.3 Detachable Front Panel

The inverter features a detachable front panel for remote control and monitoring. To use it:

1. Gently pull the front panel away from the main unit.
2. Connect the provided cable to the port on the back of the detachable panel and the corresponding port on the inverter.
3. Mount the detachable panel in a convenient location.

6. Operation

6.1 Powering On/Off

1. After securing all connections, press the power button on the front panel to turn the inverter ON. The display will illuminate.
2. To turn OFF, press the power button again.

6.2 Using AC Outlets and USB Ports

• Plug your 110V AC devices into the two 3-prong AC outlets.
• Connect your USB-powered devices to the Standard USB (2.4A) or USB-C (3.0A) ports for charging.
• Ensure the total wattage of all connected devices does not exceed 1000 watts.

6.3 Bluetooth App Connectivity

The PowerDrive inverter can be monitored and controlled via a Bluetooth-enabled smartphone app.

1. Download the official PowerDrive app from your device's app store.

3. Open the fuse access door and carefully remove the blown fuse.
