  3. Micro-Calc Filter Cleaning: The exclusive 2-in-1 micro-calc filter prevents limescale buildup.

Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your iron, please refer to the following common solutions:

  • Iron not heating: Check if the iron is properly plugged into a working power outlet. Ensure the temperature dial is set to a fabric setting and not 'off'.
  • No steam or insufficient steam:
    • Check if the water tank is filled.
    • Ensure the iron has reached the correct temperature for steam generation (indicator light off).
    • Verify the steam control is set to a steam position.
    • Clean the micro-calc filter if it appears clogged.
  • Water leaking from the soleplate:
    • The temperature setting might be too low for steam production, causing water to drip. Increase the temperature.
    • Do not use the steam boost function too frequently in quick succession.
    • Ensure the water tank is not overfilled.
  • White flakes on clothes: This indicates limescale buildup. Clean the micro-calc filter as described in the Maintenance section.
