Model: LW-060/500/120/002

Introduction

This instruction manual provides important information for the safe and efficient use of your Fancy Buying 60W AC to 12V DC Power Converter. This adapter converts standard 100-240V AC household current to 12V DC power, allowing you to use compatible 12-Volt DC devices outside of a vehicle.

Please read this manual thoroughly before operating the device and retain it for future reference.

Important Safety Warnings

  • DO NOT use this AC to DC converter with car refrigerators or any device whose starting or working current might exceed 5 Amperes.
  • This adapter is designed for car-powered devices with a maximum power consumption of 60 Watts (5 Amperes). Exceeding this limit can damage the adapter and the connected device, and poses a fire hazard.
  • Always verify your device's power requirements (Watts or Amperes) before connecting it to this adapter. (Watts = Amperes x Volts).
  • Ensure the adapter is connected to the AC power source first, then connect your 12V DC device to the cigarette lighter socket.
  • Keep the adapter away from water, moisture, and extreme temperatures.
  • Do not disassemble or attempt to repair the adapter. Contact customer support if service is required.

Troubleshooting

Device is not powering on:
  • Ensure the AC power cord is securely connected to both the adapter and the wall outlet.
  • Verify that the wall outlet is functional.
  • Check if your 12V DC device is properly plugged into the adapter's socket.
  • Confirm that your device's power consumption does not exceed 60W (5A). If the device's starting current is higher than 5A, the adapter's over-current protection may activate, preventing it from starting.
  • Ensure the adapter was plugged into the AC source before connecting the DC device.
LED indicator light does not turn on immediately:
  • This is normal. The LED light may take 2 to 4 seconds to illuminate after connecting to the AC power source.
Adapter feels warm during operation:
  • It is normal for the adapter to generate some heat during operation. However, if it becomes excessively hot, disconnect it immediately and check for overloaded devices or poor ventilation.
