Setup

1. Powering the Unit

The Lenco PR2700 can be powered via batteries or a USB connection.

• Battery Operation: Open the battery compartment on the back of the unit. Insert the required number of batteries (type not specified in product data, user should check device for markings) ensuring correct polarity (+/-). Close the compartment securely.
• USB Power: Connect one end of the supplied USB cable to the USB port on the radio and the other end to a compatible USB power adapter (not supplied) or a powered USB port on a computer.

2. Antenna Setup

For optimal FM radio reception, fully extend the telescopic antenna. Adjust its position for the best signal quality.

Operating Instructions

1. Power On/Off

Press the POWER button (if present, otherwise assume FUNCTION button or a dedicated power switch) to turn the radio on or off.

2. Selecting Mode (FUNCTION)

Press the FUNCTION button repeatedly to cycle through available modes: FM Radio, USB, AUX.

3. FM Radio Operation

1. Switch to FM mode using the FUNCTION button.
2. Use the SKIP+/- buttons to manually tune to a desired frequency or to auto-scan for the next available station.
3. To save a station, press and hold the MEMORY/ALARM button. Use SKIP+/- to select a preset number, then press MEMORY/ALARM again to confirm.
4. To recall a saved station, briefly press the MEMORY/ALARM button and use SKIP+/- to navigate through presets.
5. Press RDS/PLAY to activate or deactivate RDS (Radio Data System) information display, if available on the broadcast.

4. Volume Adjustment

Use the VOL+/- buttons to increase or decrease the volume.

5. USB Playback

1. Insert a USB flash drive into the USB port.
2. Switch to USB mode using the FUNCTION button.
3. The unit should automatically begin playing compatible audio files.
4. Use SKIP+/- to navigate between tracks.
5. Press RDS/PLAY to play or pause playback.

6. AUX Input

1. Connect an external audio device (e.g., smartphone, MP3 player) to the AUX input using a 3.5mm audio cable (not supplied).
2. Switch to AUX mode using the FUNCTION button.
3. Audio will be played through the radio's speakers. Control playback and volume from the connected external device.

7. Setting the Clock and Alarm

1. Setting Clock: Press and hold the CLOCK button. Use SKIP+/- to adjust hours and minutes, and CLOCK again to confirm each setting.
2. Setting Alarm: Press and hold the MEMORY/ALARM button until the alarm setting appears. Use SKIP+/- to set the alarm time, and MEMORY/ALARM to confirm. You may also be able to select an alarm source (e.g., buzzer, radio).
3. Snooze/Dimmer: When the alarm sounds, press SNOOZE/DIMMER to activate snooze. Briefly press SNOOZE/DIMMER in normal operation to adjust display brightness.

8. Sleep Timer

Press the SLEEP button repeatedly to set the sleep timer (e.g., 15, 30, 60, 90 minutes). The radio will automatically turn off after the selected time.

Maintenance

• Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the exterior of the unit. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
