Control Panel (Typical Layout)

The control panel usually consists of three main knobs:

  1. Temperature Control Knob: Adjusts the oven temperature (e.g., 100°C to 250°C).
  2. Function Selector Knob: Selects the cooking mode (e.g., top heating, bottom heating, top & bottom heating, convection, rotisserie).
  3. Timer Knob: Sets the cooking duration (e.g., up to 60 minutes) or continuous operation.

Setup

  1. Unpacking: Carefully remove the oven and all accessories from the packaging. Remove any protective films or stickers.
  2. Placement: Place the oven on a flat, stable, and heat-resistant surface. Ensure there is adequate ventilation around the oven (at least 10-15 cm clearance on all sides and top) to prevent overheating. Do not place it near flammable materials.
  3. Initial Cleaning: Before first use, wipe the interior and accessories with a damp cloth and mild detergent. Dry thoroughly.
  4. First Use Burn-Off:
    • Plug the oven into a grounded electrical outlet.
    • Set the temperature to maximum (e.g., 250°C).
    • Set the function to top and bottom heating.
    • Set the timer for approximately 15 minutes.
    • During this process, a slight odor or smoke may be emitted. This is normal and will dissipate. Ensure the area is well-ventilated.
    • After 15 minutes, turn the timer to OFF and unplug the oven. Allow it to cool completely.

Operating Instructions

General Operation

  1. Prepare Food: Place food on the baking tray or wire rack.
  2. Insert Accessories: Slide the tray or rack into the desired rack position inside the oven.
  3. Close Door: Ensure the oven door is securely closed.
  4. Set Temperature: Turn the temperature control knob to the desired cooking temperature.
  5. Select Function: Turn the function selector knob to the desired cooking mode (e.g., top heat, bottom heat, both, convection).
  6. Set Timer: Turn the timer knob to the desired cooking time. The oven will start heating. A bell will sound when the timer reaches zero. For continuous operation, turn the timer past the "OFF" position to the "STAY ON" or similar setting (if available).
  7. Monitor Cooking: Observe food through the glass door. Adjust settings if necessary.
  8. Remove Food: Once cooking is complete, turn the timer to OFF and unplug the oven. Use the provided handle or oven mitts to carefully remove hot food and accessories.

Using the Rotisserie Function

The rotisserie function is ideal for roasting poultry or larger cuts of meat evenly.

  1. Prepare Meat: Securely attach the meat (e.g., a whole chicken) onto the rotisserie spit using the forks. Ensure the meat is centered and balanced to prevent uneven rotation.
  2. Insert Spit: Carefully insert one end of the rotisserie spit into the rotisserie drive socket on the right side of the oven interior. Rest the other end on the support bracket on the left side.
  3. Set Drip Tray: Place the baking tray on the bottom rack position to catch any drips.
  4. Close Door: Close the oven door.
  5. Set Temperature: Turn the temperature control knob to the desired roasting temperature (e.g., 180-200°C).
  6. Select Function: Turn the function selector knob to the rotisserie setting (usually indicated by a rotating spit icon).
  7. Set Timer: Set the timer for the required cooking duration.
  8. Remove: Once cooking is complete, turn the timer to OFF and unplug the oven. Use the rotisserie handle to carefully lift and remove the hot spit and meat from the oven.

Maintenance and Cleaning

Regular cleaning ensures optimal performance and extends the life of your oven.

  1. Always Unplug: Before cleaning, always unplug the oven from the power outlet and allow it to cool completely.
  2. Exterior Cleaning: Wipe the exterior surfaces with a damp cloth and mild detergent. Do not use abrasive cleaners or scouring pads.
  3. Interior Cleaning:
    • Remove the wire rack, baking tray, and rotisserie spit. Wash them in warm, soapy water or in a dishwasher if they are dishwasher-safe. Rinse and dry thoroughly.
    • Wipe the interior walls with a damp cloth and mild detergent. For stubborn stains, a non-abrasive oven cleaner designed for mini ovens can be used, following the product instructions carefully.
    • Clean the glass door with a glass cleaner or a damp cloth.
    • Ensure all interior surfaces are dry before using the oven again.
  4. Crumb Tray: Regularly remove and clean the crumb tray located at the bottom of the oven. This prevents grease and food particles from accumulating and potentially causing a fire.
  5. Storage: When not in use, store the oven in a clean, dry place.
