Mesqool White Noise Sound Machine User Manual

Introduction

The Mesqool White Noise Sound Machine is designed to create a peaceful environment for sleep, focus, meditation, or calming babies. It features 24 high-fidelity natural sounds, customizable timer settings, and convenient power options, including battery operation for portability and USB charging ports for external devices.

Setup

Powering the Device

• AC Adapter: Connect the included AC adapter to the 5V DC IN port on the back of the sound machine and plug it into a standard wall outlet. This is recommended for continuous use and enables the USB charging ports.
• Battery Operation: For portable use, insert 3 AA batteries (not included) into the battery compartment. Ensure correct polarity. Battery life varies with volume level (e.g., 38 hours at 10% volume, 14 hours at 100% volume).

Initial Placement

Place the sound machine on a stable, flat surface away from direct sunlight, heat sources, and moisture. For optimal sound dispersion, ensure the speaker is not obstructed.

Operating Instructions

Turning On/Off and Volume Control

Rotate the OFF/Volume knob clockwise to turn on the device and increase the volume. Rotate counter-clockwise to decrease the volume and turn off the device. The volume can be adjusted from 0 to 99 dB.

Sound Selection

The sound machine offers 24 soothing sounds across 8 categories. Press the dedicated buttons on the front panel to select your desired sound:

• White Noise: 3 variations of white noise.
• Fan: 3 variations of fan noise.
• Ocean: 3 variations of ocean sounds (ocean waves, waves, midnight surf).
• Bird Chirping: 3 variations (singing, relaxation, chirping).
• Water Stream: 3 variations (forest brook, snowstream, streamside).
• Summer Night: 3 variations (daybreak, crickets, sleepy jungle).
• Thunder & Rain: 3 variations (rain, thunder & rain, thunder).
• Forest: 3 variations (dream forest, winter wilderness, rainforest).

The memory function will recall your last selected sound and volume settings when the device is turned back on.

Timer Function

Press the TIMER button to set an auto-off timer. Available options are 15, 30, or 60 minutes. The device will automatically turn off after the selected duration. To play continuously, do not select a timer setting.

Headphone Jack

For private listening, plug any standard 3.5mm headphones into the headphone jack located on the back of the unit.

USB Charging Ports

The sound machine is equipped with two 5V 1A USB charging ports. These ports can be used to conveniently charge your mobile devices (e.g., smartphones, tablets) when the sound machine is powered via the AC adapter.

Maintenance

• Cleaning: Wipe the surface of the sound machine with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use liquid cleaners or abrasive chemicals.
• Storage: When not in use for extended periods, store the device in a cool, dry place. Remove batteries if storing for more than a few weeks to prevent leakage.
• Handling: Handle the device with care. Avoid dropping it or exposing it to extreme temperatures.
