1. Product Overview
The Garosa Mini 360-Degree Infrared Motion Sensor is a recessed ceiling PIR (Passive Infrared) detector designed to automatically control lighting based on human movement. This device enhances safety and convenience by activating connected lights when motion is detected within its range.
- Wide Applications: Suitable for various indoor and outdoor environments such as homes, offices, gardens, and workplaces.
- Time Setting: Adjustable time delay for how long the light remains on after motion detection.
- Practical Feature: Functions as a motion-activated switch for lighting systems.
- Infrared Motion Sensor: Detects human movement to trigger the connected indicator (light).
- Night Light Function: Ideal for safety lighting in dark areas, preventing falls and improving visibility.

4. Installation Guide
Important: Ensure power is disconnected at the main circuit breaker before beginning installation.
- Prepare Wiring: Identify the Live (L), Neutral (N), and Load (L1) wires from your electrical circuit. The sensor typically has brown (Live), blue (Neutral), and red (Load) wires.
- Mount the Sensor: This sensor is designed for recessed ceiling mounting. Create an appropriate opening in the ceiling for the sensor body, ensuring the detection lens is exposed.
- Connect Wires:
- Connect the Brown wire (L) from the sensor to the main Live wire.
- Connect the Blue wire (N) from the sensor to the main Neutral wire.
- Connect the Red wire (L1) from the sensor to the Live wire of your light fixture (Load).
- Connect the Neutral wire of your light fixture to the main Neutral wire.
- Secure Connections: Use appropriate wire connectors to ensure all connections are secure and insulated.
- Position Sensor: Ensure the sensor's detection lens has an unobstructed view of the area where motion is to be detected.
- Restore Power: Once installation is complete and all connections are secure, restore power at the circuit breaker.

5. Operation and Adjustments
The sensor features three adjustable knobs for fine-tuning its behavior:

Figure 7: Adjustment knobs for SENS, TIME, and LUX settings.
- SENS (Sensitivity):
This knob controls the detection range of the sensor. Turn clockwise to increase sensitivity (wider range) and counter-clockwise to decrease sensitivity (shorter range).
- TIME (Time Delay):
This knob sets how long the connected light remains on after motion is no longer detected. The adjustable range is typically from 10 seconds to 15 minutes. Turn clockwise for a longer delay and counter-clockwise for a shorter delay.
- LUX (Light Sensor):
This knob determines the ambient light level at which the sensor will activate.
- Turn towards the sun icon for the sensor to operate during both day and night (high LUX threshold).
- Turn towards the moon icon for the sensor to operate only in low light conditions or darkness (low LUX threshold).
After adjusting, test the sensor's functionality by moving within its detection area and observing the light's response.
