1. Important Safety Instructions

Please read these instructions carefully before using the appliance and keep them for future reference. Failure to follow these instructions may result in electric shock, fire, or serious injury.

• Electrical Safety: Ensure the voltage indicated on the rating label corresponds to your mains voltage. Do not operate the heater with a damaged cord or plug. Do not immerse the appliance in water or any other liquid.
• Placement: Always place the heater on a firm, level surface. Do not place it near curtains, furniture, or other flammable materials. Maintain a minimum distance of 1 meter from walls and other objects.

• Overheat Protection: The heater is equipped with an Overprotect System and AutoOff function that automatically shuts off the unit if it overheats. If this occurs, unplug the heater, allow it to cool, and remove any obstructions before restarting.
• Tip-over Protection: The Tip-over safety system automatically switches off the heater if it is accidentally knocked over or placed in an unusual position.
• Moisture: Do not use this heater in the immediate surroundings of a bath, a shower or a swimming pool. Do not use in damp or wet locations.

3. Setup

Follow these steps for the initial setup of your fan heater:

1. Unpacking: Carefully remove the heater from its packaging. Retain the packaging for future storage or transport.
2. Placement: Place the heater on a stable, flat, and heat-resistant surface. Ensure there is at least 1 meter of clear space around the heater to allow for proper airflow and to prevent fire hazards. Do not place it directly under a power outlet.
3. Power Connection: Ensure the heater is switched off (both knobs set to OFF/minimum). Plug the power cord into a suitable 220V electrical outlet.

4. Operating Instructions

Your Cecotec Ready Warm 9650 Force Horizon fan heater is equipped with two control knobs for easy operation.

1. Power On/Off and Mode Selection:

   Use the left knob (as seen in Figure 4.1) to select the desired operating mode:

   • OFF: Turns the heater off.
   • VENTILADOR (Cool/Fan): Activates the fan without heat, providing cool air circulation.
   • MODO ECO (Eco Mode - 1000 W): Provides gentle heating at a lower power consumption.
   • MODO MAX (Turbo Mode - 2000 W): Provides maximum heating power for rapid warming.
2. Thermostat Adjustment:

   Use the right knob (as seen in Figure 4.1) to adjust the desired temperature. Turn the knob clockwise to increase the temperature setting and counter-clockwise to decrease it. The heater will cycle on and off to maintain the set temperature.

3. Initial Use: During the first few uses, a slight odor may be emitted. This is normal and will dissipate quickly. Ensure adequate ventilation during this period.

5. Maintenance and Storage

Regular cleaning and proper storage will ensure the longevity and efficient operation of your fan heater.

• Before Cleaning: Always unplug the heater from the power outlet and allow it to cool completely before cleaning.
• Exterior Cleaning: Wipe the exterior surfaces of the heater with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners, solvents, or harsh chemicals, as these can damage the finish.
• Air Inlets/Outlets: Use a soft brush or a vacuum cleaner with a brush attachment to gently remove dust and debris from the air inlets and outlets. Ensure these areas remain clear for optimal performance.
• Do Not Immerse: Never immerse the heater in water or any other liquid.
• Storage: When not in use, store the heater in a cool, dry place, preferably in its original packaging, away from direct sunlight and moisture.
