1. Introduction
This manual provides instructions for the safe and proper use of your Hasbro FurReal Rock-A-Too the Showbird interactive plush robot. Please read this manual thoroughly before operating the product and retain it for future reference.
2. Safety Information
- Age Recommendation: This product is suitable for ages 4 and up.
- Battery Safety:
- Use 4 x 1.5V AA alkaline batteries.
- Do not mix old and new batteries.
- Do not mix alkaline, standard (carbon-zinc), or rechargeable (nickel-cadmium) batteries.
- Insert batteries with correct polarity (+ and -).
- Remove exhausted batteries promptly.
- Remove batteries if the product is not used for an extended period.
- Do not short-circuit the supply terminals.
- Do not dispose of batteries in fire; they may leak or explode.
- Battery replacement should be performed by an adult.

4. Battery Installation
- Locate the battery compartment on the underside of the toy.
- Using a Phillips head screwdriver (not included), loosen the screw and remove the battery compartment cover.
- Remove any old batteries.
- Insert 4 new 1.5V AA alkaline batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+ and -) as indicated inside the compartment.
- Replace the battery compartment cover and tighten the screw. Do not overtighten.
5. Operating Instructions
The FurReal Rock-A-Too the Showbird features over 150 phrases, songs, and movements. It has three main play modes:
5.1. Interactive Play
- Activation: Turn the power switch (located near the battery compartment) to the "ON" position. The toy may begin to move and speak.
- Sensor Interaction: Pet its head or back to elicit various reactions, including chirps, phrases, and movements of its head, body, wings, and beak. Speak to the Showbird, and it may mimic your words or respond with its own phrases. The Showbird can sing three different songs and dance along. Encourage it by interacting with it.

5.2. Demo Mode
The toy may be in "DEMO" mode when first unboxed. In this mode, it will perform limited functions. To activate full play mode, ensure the power switch is set to "ON" (not "DEMO" or "OFF").
5.3. Power Off
To conserve battery life, turn the power switch to the "OFF" position when the toy is not in use.
6. Care and Maintenance
- Cleaning: Surface clean only. Use a soft, damp cloth to wipe away dirt. Do not immerse the toy in water.
- Storage: Store the toy in a clean, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. Remove batteries if storing for extended periods.
- Avoid Damage: Do not drop the toy or subject it to strong impacts. Keep away from pets that may chew on it.
