Safety Information
Always ensure the safety of your child by following these guidelines:
- Never leave your child unattended in the stroller.
- Always use the 5-point harness system to secure your child.
- Ensure all locking devices are engaged before use.
- Do not overload the stroller or the storage basket. The maximum weight capacity for the child is 17.5 kg.
- Do not use accessories or replacement parts other than those approved by the manufacturer.
- Avoid placing hot liquids or heavy objects in the storage basket.
- Be aware of the risk of open fires and other sources of strong heat, such as electric bar fires, gas fires, etc., in the near vicinity of the stroller.
- Always engage the brakes when the stroller is stationary.
- Ensure that children are kept clear of moving parts when making adjustments.
Setup and Initial Assembly
The Joie Mirus stroller comes largely pre-assembled. Follow these steps for initial setup:
- Unfolding the Stroller: Release the one-hand fold lock. The stroller will automatically lock into the open position. Ensure all frame locks are securely engaged.
- Attaching Wheels (if necessary): If wheels are not pre-attached, push them onto the axles until they click into place.
- Adjusting the Canopy: Extend the canopy to provide shade for your child.
- Harness Adjustment: The SoftTouch 5-point harness system adjusts to 3 heights. Adjust the shoulder straps to the appropriate height for your child.

Operating Instructions
Reversible Handle
The reversible handle allows you to switch between rear-facing (parent-facing) and forward-facing modes. To reverse the handle, locate the release mechanisms on both sides of the handle and engage them, then swing the handle to the desired position until it locks securely.

Seat Recline
The seat offers a smooth, one-hand recline function, suitable from birth with a flat reclining seat. To recline the seat, locate the recline lever or strap mechanism behind the seat and adjust to the desired angle. Ensure the seat is securely locked in position before placing your child in it.

Brake System
The stroller features a single-step, ShoeSaver brake. To engage the brake, press down firmly on the brake pedal located near the rear wheels until it locks. To release, lift the pedal. Always ensure the brake is fully engaged when the stroller is stationary.
Folding the Stroller
The stroller can be folded with one hand, and it automatically locks. To fold, ensure the seat is in the forward-facing position. Locate the one-hand fold mechanism (usually a button or lever on the handle) and activate it while pushing the stroller forward to collapse. The automatic lock will engage, leaving your other hand free.

Using with Infant Car Seat
The Joie Mirus stroller pairs perfectly with all Joie group 0+ infant seats without the need for adapters. To attach an infant car seat, ensure the stroller seat is in an upright position. Align the car seat with the stroller's attachment points and press down firmly until it clicks securely into place. Always check that the car seat is properly secured before use.

Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and safe operation of your stroller:
- Cleaning Fabric: The removable seat pad may be washed in cold water and drip-dried. Do not use bleach.
- Cleaning Frame: To clean the stroller frame, use only household soap and warm water. Do not use bleach or detergent.
- Post-Beach/Dusty Use: When using your stroller at the beach or areas of high dust/sand, completely clean your stroller after use to remove sand and salt from brake mechanisms and wheel assemblies.
- Drying: If the stroller becomes wet, open the canopy and allow it to dry thoroughly before storing.
- Regular Checks: From time to time, check your stroller for loose screws, worn parts, torn material, or stitching. Replace or repair parts as needed.
- Wheel Lubrication: If wheels squeak, use a light oil (e.g., Silicon Spray, anti-rust oil, or sewing machine oil). It is important to get the oil into the axle and wheel assembly.
- Brake Maintenance: If the brake pedal is stiff or hard to fully engage, flush any debris from the brake system with clean water first before lubricating.
- Environmental Exposure: Excessive exposure to sun or heat could cause fading or warping of parts.
Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your Joie Mirus Stroller, refer to the following common solutions:
- Stroller not unfolding/folding smoothly: Ensure all locking mechanisms are disengaged before attempting to fold/unfold. Check for any obstructions in the folding mechanism.
- Wheels squeaking: Apply a light lubricant (e.g., silicone spray) to the wheel axles. Refer to the Maintenance section for details.
