Important Safety Information & Usage Notes

  • Do not press the pencil too hard while sharpening, as this can damage the pencil or the sharpener.
  • This sharpener is not suitable for very soft core pencils, crayons, chalk, pastels, wax-based pencils, or eyebrow pencils. Using these types of pencils may jam the blade or cause lead breakage.
  • Stop sharpening immediately once the pencil is pointed to prevent over-sharpening.
  • Always pull the pencil out slowly after sharpening to avoid lead breakage.
  • The charging cable is hidden at the bottom of the sharpener.
  • The sharpener will not operate while charging.

Setup

Charging the Sharpener

Before first use, or when the battery is low, charge the sharpener using the integrated USB cable. The cable is located in a compartment at the bottom of the unit.

  1. Locate the charging cable compartment at the bottom of the sharpener.
  2. Pull out the USB charging cable.
  3. Connect the USB cable to a laptop, power bank, or a cellphone adapter (not included).
  4. Allow approximately 1 hour for a full charge, which provides power for about 100 sharpening cycles.

Operating Instructions

Sharpening a Pencil

  1. Ensure the sharpener is fully charged and unplugged from any power source.
  2. Select the appropriate sharpening hole based on your pencil's diameter (6-8mm or 8-9.6mm).
  3. Adjust the desired point sharpness by rotating the knob on the back of the sharpener. There are 5 settings available.
  4. Insert the pencil into the chosen hole and gently press down. The sharpener will automatically start.
  5. Hold the pencil steady without excessive force. The sharpener will stop automatically once the pencil is sharpened to the selected point.
  6. Slowly remove the pencil to prevent lead breakage.

Maintenance

Cleaning the Shavings Box

Regularly empty the shavings box to maintain optimal performance and prevent blockages.

  1. Hold the sharpener firmly.
  2. Push up the transparent cover of the shavings box over a trash can.
  3. Empty the pencil shavings.
  4. Close the cover tightly until it clicks into place. Ensure the cover is securely closed for the sharpener to operate.

Troubleshooting
