Setup and Installation

1. Choosing a Location

Select a location that receives direct sunlight for at least 6-8 hours daily to ensure optimal charging of the solar panel. Avoid areas under eaves, trees, or other obstructions that may block sunlight or trigger the motion sensor unnecessarily.

2. Mounting the Light

1. Mark the desired mounting points on the wall using the light's mounting holes as a template.
2. Drill holes at the marked positions. Insert wall plugs if mounting into masonry or concrete.
3. Align the light with the drilled holes and secure it using the provided screws. Ensure the light is firmly attached.

Operating Instructions

The Luceco LED Solar Guardian Wall Light is designed for automatic operation. It features a photocell sensor that detects ambient light levels and a PIR motion sensor for activation.

• During daylight hours, the solar panel charges the internal battery. The light will not illuminate.
• At dusk, the photocell sensor will detect low light conditions, and the unit will enter standby mode.
• When motion is detected within the sensor's range, the LED light will illuminate at full brightness.
• After a period of no motion, the light will automatically turn off or dim, depending on the specific model's pre-set mode.

No manual switching is required for daily operation.

Maintenance

To ensure optimal performance and longevity of your solar wall light, follow these simple maintenance guidelines:

• Cleaning the Solar Panel: Periodically wipe the solar panel with a soft, damp cloth to remove dust, dirt, leaves, or snow. A clean panel ensures maximum sunlight absorption and efficient charging.
• Cleaning the Light Sensor/PIR: Keep the motion sensor and light sensor clear of obstructions and dirt to ensure proper functionality.
• Battery: The integrated Lithium Ion battery is designed for long-term use. If the light's performance significantly degrades over time, it may indicate the battery is reaching the end of its lifespan. Battery replacement should only be performed by qualified personnel if the design allows.
