4. Setup
4.1 Charging the Speaker
- Connect the provided charging cable to the DC 5V port on the speaker (refer to Image 2).
- Connect the other end of the charging cable to a compatible USB power adapter (not included) or a computer's USB port.
- The charging indicator on the speaker will illuminate. Once fully charged, the indicator may change color or turn off.
4.2 Powering On/Off
Locate the ON/OFF switch on the rear panel of the speaker (refer to Image 2). Slide the switch to the 'ON' position to power on the speaker. Slide it to the 'OFF' position to power off.
5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Bluetooth Pairing
- Power on the speaker. It will automatically enter Bluetooth pairing mode, indicated by a flashing Bluetooth icon on the LCD screen.
- On your mobile device (smartphone, tablet, etc.), enable Bluetooth and search for available devices.
- Select 'RCA SP303BTBR' from the list of devices.
- Once paired, the speaker will emit an audible confirmation, and the Bluetooth icon on the LCD screen will stop flashing.
5.2 USB/MSD Card Playback
- Insert a USB flash drive or a Micro SD (TF) card into the respective port on the rear panel (refer to Image 2).
- The speaker will automatically detect the storage device and begin playing compatible audio files (MP3, WAV).
- Use the control buttons on the top panel to play/pause, skip tracks, or adjust volume.
5.3 AUX Input
- Connect one end of a 3.5mm audio cable (not included) to the AUX port on the speaker (refer to Image 2).
- Connect the other end of the audio cable to the headphone jack or audio output of your external device.
- The speaker will switch to AUX mode. Control playback and volume from your external device.
5.4 FM Radio
- Power on the speaker and press the 'Mode' button (if available, or cycle through modes) until 'FM' appears on the LCD screen.
- Press and hold the 'Play/Pause' button to initiate an automatic scan for FM stations. The speaker will save detected stations.
- Use the 'Previous/Next' buttons to navigate between saved FM stations.
5.5 Hands-Free Function
When connected via Bluetooth to a smartphone, the speaker can be used for hands-free calls.
- Answering a Call: When a call comes in, press the 'Play/Pause' button to answer.
- Ending a Call: During a call, press the 'Play/Pause' button again to end the call.
6. Maintenance
- Keep the speaker away from water, moisture, and extreme temperatures.
- Clean the speaker with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Store the speaker in a cool, dry place when not in use for extended periods.
- To prolong battery life, fully charge the speaker before first use and recharge it regularly, even if not used frequently.
