Setup

Before using your watch, please ensure initial setup is completed. The watch is powered by a CR2016 battery, which is included.

Initial Time Setting

Your watch features a full auto-calendar up to the year 2099. Time can be set manually or automatically via mobile link.

1. Manual Adjustment: Refer to the detailed instructions in the full user manual for specific button operations to set the time and date manually.
2. Mobile Link (Bluetooth®) Connection:
   • Download the official G-SHOCK Connected app on your smartphone.
   • Enable Bluetooth on your smartphone.
   • Follow the app's instructions to pair your watch. This will automatically adjust the time and date based on your phone's time.

Step Goal Setting

The watch includes a step tracker. You can set a daily step goal between 1,000 and 50,000 steps in 1,000-step increments.

• Target Time Alarm: Set up to 10 target time settings.

Countdown Timer

Alarms

Hand Shift Feature

Maintenance

Proper care will extend the life and maintain the appearance of your Casio G-Shock watch.

• Cleaning: Wipe the watch with a soft, dry cloth. For resin parts, a mild soap solution and water can be used, followed by thorough rinsing and drying.
• Water Resistance: This watch is 200-meter water resistant. It is suitable for recreational diving, but not for saturation diving. Avoid operating buttons underwater.
• Temperature Exposure: Avoid exposing the watch to extreme temperatures (hot or cold) for prolonged periods.
• Chemicals: Keep the watch away from gasoline, cleaning solvents, aerosols, adhesives, paints, etc., as they may cause discoloration or damage to the resin case and band.
• Battery Replacement: The approximate battery life is 2 years on a CR2016 battery. When the battery runs low, some functions may become unstable or stop working. It is recommended to have the battery replaced by an authorized Casio service center to ensure water resistance is maintained.

• Watch Not Displaying Correct Time:

• Step Count Inaccurate:

  • Movement other than walking (e.g., arm swinging while sitting) may be counted as steps.
• Display is Dim or Blank:
  • The battery may be low. Consider battery replacement.
  • The watch might be in power-saving mode. Press any button to wake it up.
