2. Setup

2. Positioning: Place the machine on a flat, stable, and heat-resistant surface, away from water splashes and heat sources.
3. Water Tank: Remove the water tank from the back of the machine. Rinse it thoroughly with fresh water and fill it to the MAX level with potable water. Place the water tank back into position.
4. Milk Frother Assembly: Attach the milk frother container to the side of the machine. Ensure it is securely connected.
5. Initial Rinse: Plug the machine into a grounded power outlet. Turn on the machine by pressing the power button. Allow the machine to heat up (buttons will stop blinking). Place a container under the coffee outlet and press any coffee button to perform an initial rinse cycle. 3.1. Preparing Espresso or Lungo

1. Ensure the water tank is filled.
2. Turn on the machine and wait for the buttons to stop blinking (ready state).
3. Lift the lever, insert a Nespresso Original capsule into the capsule slot, and close the lever.
4. Place a cup under the coffee outlet.
5. Press either the Espresso button (small cup icon) for a short coffee or the Lungo button (large cup icon) for a longer coffee. The machine will automatically stop when the desired volume is reached.

3.2. Preparing Milk-Based Beverages (Cappuccino, Latte Macchiato)

1. Fill the milk container with fresh, cold milk up to the desired level.
2. Attach the milk container to the machine.
3. Adjust the milk foam regulator knob on the milk container lid to your preferred foam consistency (from minimal to maximum foam).
4. Lift the lever, insert a Nespresso Original capsule, and close the lever.
5. Place a suitable cup under the coffee and milk outlets.
6. Press either the Cappuccino button (small cup with foam icon) or the Latte Macchiato button (tall glass with foam icon). The machine will first froth and dispense milk, then brew the coffee.
7. After preparation, remove the milk container and store it in the refrigerator if there is remaining milk.

3.3. Programming Coffee Volume

You can customize the volume for each coffee button:

1. Insert a Nespresso capsule.
2. Press and hold the desired coffee button (Espresso or Lungo).
3. Release the button when the desired volume of coffee is reached in your cup. The machine will remember this setting for future use.
