Setup

1. Battery Installation (Remote Control)

The remote control requires 5 AAA batteries (not included). Ensure batteries are inserted with correct polarity.

1. Locate the battery compartment on the back of the remote control.
2. Open the battery cover.
3. Insert 5 new AAA batteries, matching the (+) and (-) indicators.
4. Close the battery cover securely.

2. Charging the Monster Truck

The Monster Jam Grave Digger RC truck features an internal rechargeable battery. A USB charging cable is integrated into the truck's chassis.

1. Ensure the vehicle is turned OFF before charging.
2. Locate the charging cable compartment on the underside of the truck. Slide down the panel to access the USB charging cable.
3. Plug the USB charging cable into a computer or a 5VDC rated wall adapter (not included).
4. The truck's headlights will blink to indicate charging. They will remain ON when fully charged.

3. Pairing the Remote Control with the Truck

Follow these steps to establish a connection between the remote control and the truck:

1. Turn off the truck.
2. Remove batteries from the remote control.
3. Push the throttle lever on the remote control up and down several times to drain any residual power.
4. Turn on the truck.
5. Insert batteries into the remote control.
6. Push the throttle lever up to the maximum position for approximately 3 seconds, then return it to the minimum position.
7. The truck's wheels should turn to the right and then return to center, confirming successful pairing.
