4. Operating Instructions
4.1 Setting the Passcode
The lock supports 1 to 11 digit PIN codes. The recommended password length is 5-6 digits for ease of remembrance. The 'C' button is the reset button, and all other numbered keys (including 'Y') are used for the password.
Important: This lock operates on a non-sequential password system. This means if your set password is "123456", entering "231456" will also unlock it, as long as all the correct digits are pressed, regardless of their order. There is only one set of active passwords at a time.
- To set or change the passcode, you will need to access the internal mechanism of the lock. This typically involves removing the back panel.
- Inside, you will find a series of numbered tumblers or switches corresponding to the keypad buttons.
- To include a number in your passcode, rotate its corresponding tumbler/switch to the "ON" or "SET" position (refer to the detailed manual for specific visual guidance).
- To exclude a number, rotate its tumbler/switch to the "OFF" or "RESET" position.
- Once your desired passcode numbers are set, reassemble the lock.
- Test the new passcode multiple times before relying on it for security.

4.2 Unlocking the Door
- Enter your set passcode by pressing the corresponding buttons. Remember, the order does not matter, only that all correct digits are pressed.
- After entering the passcode, turn the knob or handle to open the door.
- If an incorrect digit is pressed, press the 'C' (Clear) button to reset the entry and try again.
5. Maintenance
- Cleaning: Wipe the lock surface with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners or solvents that could damage the finish.
- Lubrication: Periodically apply a small amount of graphite lubricant to the internal moving parts of the lock body to ensure smooth operation. Do not use oil-based lubricants on the keypad mechanism.
- Inspection: Regularly check all screws and mounting hardware for tightness. Ensure the lock operates smoothly without excessive force.
6. Troubleshooting
- Lock not opening with correct code:
- Ensure all correct digits of the passcode are pressed.
- Press the 'C' button to clear any previous entries before re-entering the code.
- Verify that the internal tumblers/switches are correctly set for your desired passcode.
- Buttons are stiff or sticking:
- Clean the keypad surface.
- Apply a small amount of dry lubricant (e.g., graphite powder) to the buttons if necessary.
- Lock mechanism feels loose:
- Check all mounting screws and tighten them if loose.
- Ensure the lock body and panels are securely fastened to the door.
