- Power indicator light
- Ready indicator light
- Cool-touch handles
- Non-slip feet

Setup
- Unpacking: Carefully remove the waffle maker from its packaging. Retain packaging for storage or disposal.
- Initial Cleaning: Wipe the baking plates with a damp cloth or sponge. Dry thoroughly.
- Placement: Place the waffle maker on a stable, heat-resistant, and dry surface. Ensure there is adequate ventilation around the appliance.
- First Use (Conditioning): Before first use, plug the appliance into a grounded wall outlet. Turn the thermostat dial to the maximum setting. Allow the waffle maker to heat for approximately 10 minutes without any batter. This process helps to burn off any manufacturing residues and eliminate initial odors. A slight odor or smoke may be present during this initial heating; this is normal. Unplug and allow to cool completely.
Operating Instructions
- Preheating: Close the waffle maker and plug it into a grounded wall outlet. The power indicator light will illuminate. Set the thermostat dial to your desired temperature. The ready indicator light will turn off once the desired temperature is reached, indicating the waffle maker is ready for use.
- Preparing Waffles:
- Lightly grease the non-stick baking plates with a small amount of cooking oil or butter, especially for the first batch.
- Pour the waffle batter evenly onto the lower baking plate. Do not overfill.
- Carefully close the lid. The ready indicator light may turn on and off during cooking as the thermostat maintains the temperature.
- Cook for approximately 3-5 minutes, or until the waffles are golden brown and crispy, depending on your recipe and desired doneness. You can adjust the thermostat for softer or crispier waffles.
- Removing Waffles: Use a heat-resistant, non-metallic utensil (e.g., wooden or silicone spatula) to carefully remove the cooked waffles. Avoid using metal utensils, as they can damage the non-stick coating.
- Subsequent Batches: Close the lid and wait for the ready indicator light to signal that the waffle maker has reheated to the set temperature before adding more batter.
- Finishing: Once you have finished cooking, unplug the waffle maker from the wall outlet and allow it to cool completely before cleaning or storing.
Cleaning and Maintenance
Regular cleaning ensures optimal performance and extends the life of your waffle maker.
- Cool Down: Always ensure the waffle maker is unplugged and completely cool before cleaning.
- Cleaning Plates: Use a soft, damp cloth or paper towel to wipe the non-stick baking plates. For stubborn residue, dampen a cloth with warm, soapy water, wipe, then wipe again with a clean, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners, scouring pads, or metal brushes, as these will damage the non-stick coating.
- Exterior Cleaning: Wipe the exterior housing with a soft, damp cloth. Do not immerse the appliance in water or any other liquid.
- Storage: Once clean and dry, the waffle maker can be stored vertically to save space. The cord can be wrapped around the cord storage facility underneath the unit.
