Care and Storage

To ensure optimal performance and longevity of your Rayovac hearing aid batteries, observe the following guidelines:

  • Store batteries in their original packaging in a cool, dry place at room temperature.
  • Avoid storing batteries in extreme temperatures or high humidity.
  • Do not store batteries loosely in pockets or purses, as contact with metal objects can cause short-circuiting.
  • Rayovac batteries are designed to hold power for up to 4 years in storage.

Troubleshooting

If your hearing aid is not functioning after replacing the battery, consider the following:

  • Check Battery Orientation: Ensure the battery is inserted correctly with the positive (+) side facing the correct direction as indicated by your hearing aid manufacturer.
  • Verify Tab Removal: Confirm that the protective tab has been completely removed from the battery. The battery needs to air up after tab removal to activate.
  • Inspect Battery Door: Make sure the hearing aid's battery door is fully closed and latched.
  • Try Another Battery: If issues persist, try a new battery from the pack to rule out a faulty battery.
  • Consult Hearing Aid Manual: Refer to your hearing aid's specific instruction manual for device-specific troubleshooting steps.
