Important Safety Instructions

Setup

5. Food Carriage Assembly: Slide the food carriage onto its tracks until it is securely in place.
6. Food Pusher Attachment: Attach the food pusher to the food carriage.

Operating Instructions

Follow these steps for safe and effective slicing:

1. Prepare Food: Ensure food items are boneless and fit comfortably on the food carriage. For best results, chill meats and cheeses before slicing.
2. Adjust Thickness: Use the thickness adjustment knob to select your desired slice thickness, from 1mm (thin) to 15mm (thick). Turn the knob clockwise for thicker slices and counter-clockwise for thinner slices.



3. Place Food: Place the food item firmly against the food guide plate on the food carriage. Use the food pusher to secure the food against the guide and protect your fingers.
4. Start Slicer: Turn the ON/OFF switch to the "ON" position. The blade will begin to rotate.
5. Slice Food: Gently push the food carriage back and forth, guiding the food into the rotating blade. Apply even pressure with the food pusher.
6. Collect Slices: Sliced food will fall onto the tray beneath the blade.
7. Stop Slicer: Once slicing is complete, turn the ON/OFF switch to the "OFF" position. Wait for the blade to come to a complete stop before touching any parts.
8. Remove Food: Carefully remove any remaining food from the carriage and the sliced food from the tray.

Cleaning and Maintenance

Regular cleaning ensures hygiene and extends the life of your slicer. Always unplug the appliance before cleaning.

1. Unplug: Ensure the slicer is unplugged from the power outlet.
2. Remove Food Pusher and Carriage: Detach the food pusher and slide the food carriage off its tracks.
3. Remove Blade: Carefully remove the blade by turning the quick-release mechanism. Exercise extreme caution as the blade is very sharp.



4. Wash Removable Parts: Wash the blade, food carriage, and food pusher with warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry immediately to prevent rust. These parts are also machine washable (dishwasher safe).



5. Clean Main Unit: Wipe the main unit, including the motor housing and base, with a damp cloth. Do not immerse the main unit in water.
6. Reassemble: Once all parts are clean and dry, reassemble the slicer in reverse order of disassembly.
7. Storage: Store the slicer in a clean, dry place when not in use.
