Setup: Battery Installation

Your Energizer LED Headlamp requires 3 AAA batteries, which are included with the product. Follow these steps to install or replace batteries:

Locate the battery compartment on the back of the headlamp unit.
Open the battery compartment cover. This usually involves a latch or a small screw. Refer to the diagram on the headlamp for specific opening instructions if available.
Insert 3 AAA batteries, ensuring the positive (+) and negative (-) ends align correctly with the markings inside the compartment. Incorrect insertion can damage the device.
Close the battery compartment cover securely until it clicks into place or the screw is tightened. Ensure a tight seal to maintain water resistance.

Important: Always use fresh, high-quality batteries. Remove batteries if the headlamp will not be used for an extended period to prevent leakage.

Operating Instructions

The headlamp features a single button for cycling through its various light modes and for dimming.

Power On/Off and Mode Selection:

To Turn On: Press the power button once. The headlamp will typically turn on in the last used mode or a default white spot light mode.
To Cycle Modes: Press the power button repeatedly to cycle through the four available light modes:
1. White Spot Light
2. White Flood Light
3. Spot and Flood Light Combined
4. Red Night Vision Mode
To Turn Off: After cycling through all modes, press the button one more time to turn the headlamp off. Alternatively, if the headlamp has been in a single mode for more than 2 seconds, a single press will turn it off.

Dimming Function:

The white light modes (Spot, Flood, and Combined) are dimmable to conserve battery life or adjust to ambient light conditions. The Red Night Vision mode is not dimmable.

While the headlamp is on in a white light mode, press and hold the power button. The light will gradually dim or brighten.
Release the button when the desired brightness level is reached. The headlamp will remember this brightness setting for the next time it is turned on in that specific mode.

Maintenance

Proper maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your Energizer LED Headlamp.

Cleaning: Wipe the headlamp body and lens with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents, as they may damage the plastic or lens coating.
Battery Care:
- Always replace all batteries at the same time.
- Do not mix old and new batteries, or different types of batteries.
- Remove batteries if the headlamp is stored for extended periods to prevent corrosion from battery leakage.
Storage: Store the headlamp in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
Strap Care: The elastic strap can be hand-washed with mild soap and water if it becomes dirty. Allow it to air dry completely before reattaching or storing.

Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your headlamp, refer to the following common problems and solutions:
