Setup
1. Charging the Battery
Before first use, fully charge the included rechargeable Li-ion battery. Connect the camera to a USB power source (e.g., computer USB port or USB wall adapter) using the provided Micro USB cable. The charging indicator light will illuminate during charging and turn off when complete.
2. Inserting the Micro SD Card
The camera requires a Micro SD card (up to 32 GB, Class 10 or higher recommended) for storing videos and photos. Locate the Micro SD card slot on the side or bottom of the camera. Insert the card with the gold contacts facing down until it clicks into place. To remove, gently push the card in until it springs out.
3. Attaching the Waterproof Case
For underwater use or protection against dust and impact, place the camera inside the 30m waterproof case. Ensure the camera is properly seated and the case is securely latched. Before using in water, always perform a leak test with the case empty to ensure it is sealed correctly.

4. Mounting the Camera
The Venture camera comes with various mounts and adaptors for different scenarios:
- Adhesive Mounts: For attaching to flat or curved surfaces (e.g., helmets, surfboards). Ensure the surface is clean and dry before applying.
- Bicycle Mount: Securely attach the camera to bicycle handlebars.
- Tripod Adaptors: For compatibility with standard tripods and other mounting accessories.

Operating the Camera
Power On/Off
- To Power On: Press and hold the Power/Mode button for a few seconds until the LCD screen illuminates.
- To Power Off: Press and hold the Power/Mode button again until the screen turns off.
Changing Modes
Press the Power/Mode button repeatedly to cycle through the available modes: Video Recording, Photo Capture, Playback, and Settings. The current mode will be displayed on the LCD screen.
Video Recording
- Switch to Video Recording mode.
- Press the Shutter/OK button to start recording. A red indicator light will typically flash, and a timer will appear on the screen.
- Press the Shutter/OK button again to stop recording. The video file will be saved to the Micro SD card.
Photo Capture
- Switch to Photo Capture mode.
- Frame your shot using the LCD display.
- Press the Shutter/OK button to take a photo. The image will be saved to the Micro SD card.
Playback
In Playback mode, use the Up/Down buttons to navigate through your recorded videos and photos. Press the Shutter/OK button to play a video or view a photo in full screen.
Settings Menu
Access the Settings menu to adjust various camera parameters such as video resolution, photo quality, date/time, language, and more. Use the Up/Down buttons to navigate and the Shutter/OK button to select options.

Maintenance
- Cleaning the Camera: Use the provided microfibre lens cloth to gently clean the camera lens and LCD screen. For the camera body, a soft, damp cloth can be used. Avoid abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Waterproof Case Care: After each use in water, rinse the waterproof case with fresh water and allow it to air dry. Inspect the rubber seal for any debris or damage that could compromise its waterproof integrity.
