4. Setup
4.1 Battery Installation
- Ensure the sander is turned off.
- Align the battery pack with the battery port on the rear of the sander.
- Slide the battery pack into the port until it clicks securely into place.
- To remove, press the battery release button and slide the battery pack out.
4.2 Sandpaper Attachment
The sander uses 5-inch diameter sandpaper discs with a hook-and-loop backing.
- Ensure the sander is turned off and the battery is removed.
- Align the holes on the sandpaper disc with the holes on the sanding pad.
- Press the sandpaper firmly onto the sanding pad to secure it.
- To remove, simply peel the sandpaper disc off the pad.
4.3 Dust Collection Setup
The sander offers two options for dust collection: the included dust collection box or a vacuum hose adapter.
- Using the Dust Collection Box: Slide the dust collection box onto the dust port at the rear of the sander until it clicks into place. Ensure the filter inside the box is clean and properly seated.
- Using the Vacuum Hose Adapter: If connecting to an external vacuum system, attach the provided vacuum hose adapter to the dust port. Then, connect your shop vacuum hose to the adapter.

5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Power On/Off
The sander features a simple push-button power switch.
- To turn ON: Press the power button.
- To turn OFF: Press the power button again.
5.2 Speed Control
The variable speed dial allows for precise control over the sanding process.
- Rotate the dial to select a speed setting from 1 (lowest OPM) to 6 (highest OPM).
- Lower speeds are suitable for fine finishing or delicate materials.
- Higher speeds are ideal for aggressive material removal.
5.3 Sanding Technique
- Hold the sander firmly with both hands.
- Place the sander flat on the workpiece before turning it on.
- Move the sander in smooth, overlapping circular motions across the surface.
- Avoid applying excessive pressure; let the tool do the work.
- Lift the sander from the workpiece before turning it off.
6. Maintenance
6.1 Dust Collection Box Cleaning
Regularly empty and clean the dust collection box to maintain optimal performance and dust extraction efficiency.
- Remove the dust collection box from the sander.
- Open the lid and empty the collected dust.
- Tap the filter gently to dislodge any embedded dust. For thorough cleaning, the filter can be rinsed with water and allowed to dry completely before reassembly.
- Reassemble the filter and close the lid securely before reattaching to the sander.
6.2 General Cleaning
- Keep the tool's ventilation openings clear and free of debris.
- Use a soft, damp cloth to clean the exterior of the tool. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
7. Troubleshooting
- Sander not turning on: Ensure the battery is fully charged and properly inserted. Check the power switch for any obstructions.
- Poor sanding performance: Replace worn sandpaper. Ensure the correct grit is being used for the application. Check if the dust collection system is clogged.
- Excessive vibration: Ensure the sandpaper is properly centered and securely attached. Check for any damage to the sanding pad.
