2. Safety Information
- This megaphone is intended for use as described in this manual only. Improper use may result in personal injury or device damage.
- Ensure all plastic bags and packaging materials are kept away from children to prevent suffocation.
- Do not allow unattended children to use electrical devices. Adult supervision is required for use by children or minors.
- Always observe correct battery polarity during installation. Incorrectly inserted batteries can cause damage and pose a fire risk.
- Remove batteries if the megaphone will not be used for extended periods to prevent leakage and damage.

4. Setup
4.1 Battery Installation
The Pyle PMP24PK megaphone requires four (4) 'C' batteries for operation. Batteries are not included with the product.
- Locate the battery compartment on the rear of the megaphone, typically beneath the speaker cap.
- Press the release button or twist the cap to open the battery compartment.
- Insert four (4) 'C' batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-) as indicated inside the compartment.
- Close the battery compartment securely until it clicks into place.

4.2 Handle Adjustment
The megaphone features a quick-folding handle for portability.
- To unfold the handle, gently pull it away from the megaphone body until it locks into the upright position.
- To fold the handle for storage, press the release button near the hinge and push the handle towards the megaphone body until it lies flat.
5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Power On/Off
Locate the ON/OFF switch on the rear control panel of the megaphone. Slide the switch to the 'ON' position to power on the device. A small LED indicator light will illuminate when the megaphone is active. Slide the switch to 'OFF' to power down.

5.2 Volume Control
Adjust the desired sound level using the volume slider located on the control panel. Slide it up for increased volume and down for decreased volume.
5.3 Voice Mode
To use the voice amplification feature:
- Ensure the megaphone is powered on.
- Slide the 'SPEAK/SIREN' switch to the 'SPEAK' position.
- Speak clearly into the microphone located at the rear of the megaphone. Adjust the volume as needed.
5.4 Siren Alert Mode
To activate the siren:
- Ensure the megaphone is powered on.
- Slide the 'SPEAK/SIREN' switch to the 'SIREN' position. The siren tone will sound immediately.
- To stop the siren, slide the switch back to the 'OFF' or 'SPEAK' position.

6. Maintenance
- Cleaning: Wipe the megaphone with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Storage: Store the megaphone in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. Remove batteries if storing for extended periods.
- Battery Care: Replace all batteries simultaneously. Do not mix old and new batteries or different types of batteries.
7. Troubleshooting
