- Channel Switch: Rotate to select channels 1-16.
- Power/Volume Switch: Rotate to power on/off and adjust volume.

3. Setup
3.1 Battery Installation and Charging
The TD-V2 walkie talkies come with rechargeable Lithium Polymer batteries. Before first use, fully charge the batteries.
- Ensure the radio is powered off.
- Align the battery pack with the grooves on the back of the radio and slide it into place until it clicks securely.
- To charge, place the radio (with battery installed) into the charging cradle.
- Connect the charger's power adapter to a standard wall outlet.
- The charging indicator light on the cradle will show charging status (e.g., red for charging, green for fully charged).
A full charge typically takes 2.5 to 3 hours. The radio offers a standby time of approximately 35 hours.

3.2 Attaching Accessories
- Belt Clip: Attach the belt clip to the back of the radio for convenient carrying.
- Hand Strap: Secure the hand strap through the designated loop on the radio to prevent accidental drops.
- Earpiece: Plug the acoustic tube earpiece into the K Port on the side of the radio. Ensure it is fully inserted for proper function.
4. Operating Instructions
4.1 Power On/Off and Volume Adjustment
Rotate the Power/Volume switch clockwise to turn the radio on. Continue rotating clockwise to increase the volume. Rotate counter-clockwise to decrease volume and turn the radio off.
4.2 Channel Selection
Rotate the Channel Switch to select one of the 16 available channels. Ensure all radios in your group are set to the same channel for communication.
4.3 Transmitting and Receiving
- To Transmit: Press and hold the PTT (Push-to-Talk) button on the side of the radio. Speak clearly into the microphone. The LED indicator will turn red. Release the PTT button when you are finished speaking.
- To Receive: Ensure the PTT button is not pressed. The radio will automatically receive transmissions on the selected channel. The LED indicator will turn green when a signal is being received.
4.4 Monitor Function
Press and hold the MONI button to temporarily disable squelch and listen for weaker signals on the current channel. This can be useful for checking if a channel is clear before transmitting or for hearing faint transmissions.
4.5 Flashlight Operation
Press the dedicated Flashlight button on the side of the radio to turn the LED flashlight on or off. This feature is useful in low-light environments.

4.6 VOX (Voice Operated Exchange)
The TD-V2 supports VOX for hands-free operation. When VOX is enabled (requires programming via software), the radio will automatically transmit when it detects your voice, eliminating the need to press the PTT button.

4.7 Privacy Codes (CTCSS/DCS)
The radio supports 155 CTCSS/DCS privacy codes. These codes help filter out unwanted conversations on a channel. To use privacy codes, all radios in your group must be set to the same channel and the same privacy code. This feature requires programming via software.

4.8 Alarm Function
The TD-V2 includes an alarm function, which can be customized via software. This feature can be used to alert others in emergency situations.

5. Maintenance
