6. Setup Guide
6.1 Power Connection
- Place the Petalk AI device in a suitable location, ensuring it is within range of your 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network.
- Connect the USB power cable to the device and plug the power adapter into a standard electrical outlet.
- The status indicator lights will illuminate, indicating the device is powered on.
6.2 App Download and Installation
- Download the "Skymee" app from the Apple App Store (for iOS devices) or Google Play Store (for Android devices).
- Install the app on your smartphone or tablet.
- Open the app and create a new account or log in if you already have one.
6.3 Wi-Fi Connection and Device Pairing
The Petalk AI device requires a 2.4GHz Wi-Fi connection. It is not compatible with 5GHz Wi-Fi networks.
- In the Skymee app, follow the on-screen instructions to add a new device.
- Select the Petalk AI model.
- Enter your 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network name (SSID) and password when prompted.
- The app will generate a QR code. Hold your smartphone screen approximately 10-20 cm (4-8 inches) in front of the Petalk AI camera lens until you hear a confirmation sound from the device.

- Once connected, the status indicator lights will change, and the device will appear in your app.
6.4 Loading Treats
- Open the food storage facility by sliding the switch on top of the device.
- Fill the compartment with your pet's favorite dry treats. Ensure treats are between 0.6cm and 1.1cm (0.24 to 0.43 inches) in size for optimal dispensing.
- Close the food storage facility switch securely.

7. Operating Instructions
7.1 Live View and Monitoring
Access the live video feed from your Petalk AI device through the Skymee app.
- Open the Skymee app and select your device.
- The live video stream will appear. You can take photos or record videos directly from this screen.
- The device features night vision, automatically activating in low-light conditions.
- Motion detection alerts can be configured in the app settings to notify you of activity.

8. Maintenance
8.1 Cleaning
- Unplug the device before cleaning.
- Wipe the exterior with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or immerse the device in water.
- Periodically clean the treat dispensing area to prevent buildup and jamming.
8.2 Treat Compatibility
- Use only dry pet treats. Wet, sticky, or oversized treats can cause jamming.
