Safety Information

Always observe basic safety precautions when using electrical appliances to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, or injury. Steam is extremely hot and can cause severe burns. Keep hands, face, and other body parts away from steam output. Do not direct steam at people, pets, or electrical appliances. Use only distilled water to prevent mineral buildup and prolong the life of your unit. Ensure the unit is unplugged and cooled before performing any maintenance or refilling the water tank.

Operating Instructions

  1. Power On: Turn on the power switch. The indicator light will illuminate, signaling that the unit is heating up.
  2. Heating Time: Allow approximately 8-10 minutes for the unit to reach optimal steam pressure. The indicator light will turn off when ready.
  3. Steam Activation: Press the steam trigger on the handle to release steam. The MC1375 features on-demand variable steam, allowing you to control the steam output as needed.
  4. Cleaning Surfaces: Direct the steam onto the surface you wish to clean. For best results on surfaces like tile, sink, stove tops, and similar surfaces, move the attachment slowly over the area. For stubborn dirt, allow the steam to penetrate for a few seconds before wiping.
  5. Refilling: If the steam output decreases significantly or stops, the water tank may be empty. Turn off the unit, unplug it, and allow it to cool for several minutes before carefully unscrewing the safety cap and refilling with distilled water.

Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and longevity of your steam system.

  • Draining Water: After each use, ensure the unit is unplugged and completely cooled. Carefully unscrew the safety cap and tilt the unit to drain any remaining water from the tank.
  • Cleaning Accessories: Wash all removable accessories with warm, soapy water and rinse thoroughly. Allow them to air dry completely before storing.
  • Descaling: Over time, mineral deposits can build up inside the boiler. To descale, mix a solution of 50% white vinegar and 50% distilled water. Pour into the tank, let it sit for a few hours (or overnight), then drain and rinse thoroughly with distilled water. Repeat if necessary.
  • Storage: Store the steam system and its accessories in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. Ensure the power cord is neatly wrapped.
