3. Setup and Assembly
3.1 Unpacking
Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Retain packaging for future storage or transport if needed. Verify all parts are present according to the packing list.
3.2 Frame Unfolding
The Diono Quantum2 features a power-assisted unfold experience. To unfold the stroller, release the frame lock and gently pull the handlebar upwards until the frame clicks securely into place. Ensure all frame locks are engaged before proceeding.
3.3 Wheel Attachment
Attach the front and rear wheels by pushing them onto their respective axles until they click into place. Pull on the wheels to ensure they are securely fastened.
3.4 Seat Unit / Accessory Attachment
The Quantum2 stroller supports multiple configurations:
- Seated Mode: Align the seat unit with the frame connectors and push down until it locks securely. The seat can be attached in both parent-facing and world-facing orientations.
- Infant Carrier Mode: Use the included stroller adaptors. Attach the adaptors to the frame, then securely click your compatible infant car seat onto the adaptors.

4. Operating the Stroller
4.1 Folding the Stroller
The Diono Quantum2 features a patented "you're in control" fold system, allowing for an incredibly easy, one-handed fold. Locate the folding mechanism (typically near the handlebar or frame joint) and activate it while guiding the stroller to fold. Ensure the stroller is fully collapsed and locked for compact storage.
4.2 Adjusting the Seat Unit
The seat unit can be easily switched between parent-facing and world-facing orientations. To change direction, disengage the seat from the frame, rotate it, and re-attach until it locks securely. The seat also features layered and removable cushions for comfort from birth to toddlerhood.

4.4 Engaging the Brake
The Quantum2 features an intuitive "One step" Brake. Press down firmly on the brake pedal, typically located near the rear wheels, until the stroller is stationary. To release, lift the pedal upwards.
4.5 Storage Basket
The XL storage basket is shaped for carry-on sized luggage and includes a distinctive hood to conceal your valuables. Access the basket from the front or rear of the stroller.
4.6 Maneuvering
The stroller's textured, full suspension wheels with 16 integrated stainless steel bearings provide refined maneuverability and agile handling. The symmetrical frame offers assured balance and a super smooth turning circle.

5. Maintenance
5.1 Cleaning Instructions
To clean the stroller, wipe surfaces with a damp cloth. For fabric components (Polyester, Faux Leather), spot clean as needed. Do not use harsh abrasives or solvents. Ensure all parts are dry before folding or storing the stroller.
5.2 Wheel and Frame Care
Regularly check the wheels for debris and ensure they spin freely. Clean any dirt or grit from the wheel axles. The stainless steel frame is designed for durability; however, avoid prolonged exposure to extreme weather conditions. Periodically check all screws and fasteners to ensure they are tight.
6. Troubleshooting
If you encounter any issues with your Diono Quantum2 stroller, please refer to the common problems and solutions below:
- Stroller difficult to fold/unfold: Ensure all locks are disengaged. Check for any obstructions in the folding mechanism. Apply light silicone spray to moving joints if stiffness persists.
- Wheels not turning smoothly: Check for debris (hair, lint, dirt) wrapped around the axles. Clean the wheels and axles thoroughly. Ensure wheels are properly attached.
- Brake not engaging/disengaging: Check for obstructions around the brake mechanism. Ensure the brake pedal is fully depressed or lifted.
- Seat unit not locking into place: Ensure the seat unit is correctly aligned with the frame connectors. Push down firmly until you hear a click. Check for any foreign objects preventing proper connection.
- Harness difficult to adjust: Ensure the harness straps are not twisted. Refer to the harness adjustment instructions for proper loosening and tightening.
If the problem persists after attempting these solutions, please contact Diono customer support.
