3. Setup

4. Operating Instructions

The EFX 556i console is designed for intuitive use. Follow these steps to begin your workout:

4.1 Quick Start

  1. Step onto the elliptical pedals.
  2. Press the QUICK START button on the console.
  3. Begin pedaling. The display will activate and start tracking your workout data.
  4. Adjust resistance using the RESISTANCE UP/DOWN arrows during your workout.

4.2 Program Selection

  1. Step onto the elliptical pedals.
  2. Press the ENTER button to access the program menu.
  3. Use the UP/DOWN arrows to scroll through the available programs: Manual, Crosstraining 1, Crosstraining 2, Crosstraining 3, Gluteal 1, Gluteal 2, Interval, and Weight Loss Interval.
  4. Press ENTER to select your desired program.
  5. Follow any on-screen prompts to set workout duration or other parameters.
  6. Begin pedaling to start the program.

4.3 Heart Rate Monitoring

To monitor your heart rate, firmly grasp the contact heart rate sensors on the stationary handlebars. Your heart rate will be displayed on the console after a few seconds.

  • Cleaning: Wipe down the console and other surfaces with a damp cloth after each use. Avoid abrasive cleaners.
