4. Setup

4.1 Unpacking

Carefully remove the dishwasher from its packaging. Inspect for any damage during transit. Retain packaging materials for future transport if needed.

4.2 Placement

Place the dishwasher on a stable, level surface. Ensure there is adequate space around the unit for ventilation and door opening. This is a freestanding unit and does not require permanent installation.

4.3 Water Connection

The dishwasher can be operated in two ways:

  1. Manual Fill: Pour 5 liters of water directly into the designated water inlet at the top of the unit using the provided funnel. The dishwasher will beep when the correct water level is reached.
  2. Direct Connection: Connect the inlet hose to a water tap and the drain hose to a sink or bucket. Ensure all connections are secure to prevent leaks.

5.2 Adding Detergent

Add the recommended amount of dishwasher detergent to the dispenser. For optimal results, use detergent specifically formulated for automatic dishwashers. This model does not have a separate rinse aid dispenser; if desired, a small amount of liquid rinse aid can be added directly to the tub.

5.3 Starting a Wash Cycle

  1. Close the dishwasher door securely.
  2. Press the Power button to turn on the appliance.
  3. Use the Program selection button to choose your desired wash cycle (P1-P6).
  4. Press the Start/Pause button to begin the cycle.

5.4 Drying Function

After a wash cycle, the dishwasher automatically activates a drying function. This circulates fresh air to help dry dishes and prevent odors. The drying function typically runs for a period after the wash cycle completes.

7. Maintenance and Cleaning

Regular cleaning and maintenance ensure optimal performance and longevity of your dishwasher.

7.1 Cleaning the Filters

The filter system prevents larger food particles from entering the pump. Clean the filters regularly (e.g., weekly) to prevent blockages and ensure efficient washing.

  1. Turn off and unplug the dishwasher.
  2. Remove the lower spray arm and then the filter assembly from the bottom of the tub.
  3. Rinse the filters under running water to remove any trapped food particles. Use a soft brush if necessary.
  4. Reassemble the filters and place them back into the dishwasher, ensuring they are securely locked in place.

7.2 Cleaning the Spray Arms

Check the spray arm nozzles for blockages. If clogged, remove the spray arms and clear the holes with a thin wire or toothpick. Rinse thoroughly and reattach.

7.3 Cleaning the Exterior and Interior

Wipe the exterior of the dishwasher with a damp cloth. For the interior, periodically run an empty cycle with a dishwasher cleaner to remove grease and limescale buildup.
