Important Safety Information

Setup and Assembly
- Unpack Components: Carefully remove all parts from the packaging.
- Attach Wand to Powerhead: Insert the metal wand into the powerhead until it clicks securely into place.
- Attach Main Unit to Wand: Insert the main vacuum unit (with the dirt cup) onto the top of the wand until it clicks.
- Charge Battery: Before first use, fully charge the ONE PWR Lithium Ion Battery. Refer to the "Charging the Battery" section for detailed instructions.
- Install Wall Mount (Optional): If desired, install the wall mount in a convenient location using appropriate hardware (not included) to store the vacuum.

Charging the Battery
The Hoover Fusion Pet V2 uses a ONE PWR Lithium Ion Battery. Ensure the battery is fully charged before initial use to maximize performance and battery life.
- Remove Battery: Press the battery release button and slide the battery out of the main vacuum unit.
- Connect Charger: Plug the charger into a standard electrical outlet.
- Insert Battery: Slide the battery into the charger until it clicks. The indicator light on the battery will illuminate to show charging status.
- Full Charge: A full charge typically takes approximately 3 hours. The indicator light will change or turn off when charging is complete.
- Reinsert Battery: Once charged, remove the battery from the charger and slide it back into the main vacuum unit until it clicks.

Operating Instructions
Powering On/Off and Mode Selection
- Power On: Press the power button located on the handle to turn the vacuum on.
- Mode Selection: The Hoover Dashboard allows you to select different cleaning modes. Press the mode selection button to cycle through available modes (e.g., Floor, Carpet, Boost).
- Power Off: Press the power button again to turn the vacuum off.
Using Attachments
The vacuum can be used in stick mode or as a handheld unit by detaching the main unit from the wand. Attachments can be used with either configuration.
- Crevice Tool: Ideal for cleaning tight spaces, corners, and edges.
- Dusting Brush: Use for delicate surfaces, blinds, and upholstery.
- Pet Upholstery Tool: Designed to effectively remove pet hair from furniture and stairs.
- Upholstery Tool: Suitable for general upholstery cleaning.

Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and extends the life of your vacuum cleaner.
Emptying the Dirt Cup
- Detach Dirt Cup: Press the dirt cup release button and remove the dirt cup from the main unit.
- Empty Contents: Position the dirt cup over a trash receptacle. Press the bottom release latch to open the dirt cup and empty its contents.
- Close and Reattach: Close the dirt cup bottom securely and reattach the dirt cup to the main unit until it clicks.

Cleaning the Filter
The filter should be cleaned regularly, especially if suction power decreases. The filter is located inside the dirt cup.
- Remove Filter: With the dirt cup detached, twist and pull out the filter assembly.
- Clean Filter: Tap the filter gently over a trash can to remove loose dirt and debris. For a more thorough clean, rinse the filter under running water until the water runs clear.
- Dry Filter: Allow the filter to air dry completely for at least 24 hours before reinserting. Do not use the vacuum with a wet filter.
- Reassemble: Once dry, reinsert the filter assembly into the dirt cup and reattach the dirt cup to the vacuum.
Cleaning the Brush Roll
Periodically check the brush roll for tangled hair or debris that may reduce cleaning effectiveness.
- Turn Off Vacuum: Ensure the vacuum is turned off and the battery is removed before performing any maintenance on the brush roll.
- Access Brush Roll: Depending on the model, you may need to use a coin or screwdriver to unlock the brush roll cover on the powerhead.
- Remove Debris: Carefully cut away any tangled hair or threads from the brush roll using scissors.
- Reassemble: Replace the brush roll cover and ensure it is securely fastened.
