2. Setup and Installation
Proper setup is crucial for optimal performance and longevity of your hot tub. Follow these steps carefully:
- Unboxing and Placement: Begin by opening the product box and carefully removing the hot tub. Place the hot tub on a flat, stable surface. Ensure the chosen location is clear of sharp objects and can support the weight of the filled hot tub.
- Inflation: Locate the air valve on the hot tub and the air hose. Open the air valve and securely plug in the air hose. Use the control panel to initiate the inflation process. The inflation can take approximately 5 minutes or more. Caution: Do not over-inflate the hot tub. Monitor progress during inflation to prevent damage.
- Air Valve Closure: Once the hot tub is fully inflated, remove the air hose and securely close the air valve to prevent air leakage.
- Filter Installation: Place the filter in its designated location within the hot tub. Refer to the installation manual for detailed diagrams and instructions on filter placement.
- Water Filling: Place a water hose inside the hot tub to begin filling. The water filling process can take anywhere from 30 minutes to 2 hours, depending on your hose and water pressure.
- Initial Heating: Once the water is filled to the desired height, begin heating by switching on the heating system from the control panel. To improve the heating process, use the included fitted polyurethane cover to close your hot tub. Heating time varies depending on the outside temperature and the initial temperature of the water used to fill the tub; it heats approximately 1-3 degrees Fahrenheit per hour.

3. Operating Instructions
Your ALEKO Hot Tub is designed for ease of use with its intuitive digital control panel.

Figure 6: Digital Control Panel for easy operation.
- Digital Control Panel: Easily operate the jets, adjust temperature, and manage filtering functions directly from the digital panel.
- Temperature Control: The hot tub can heat up to a maximum temperature of 104°F (40°C). For safest use, it is recommended to set your temperature at 100°F (38°C) or lower.
- Bubble Jets: Activate the 100-130 high-powered bubble jets for a soothing massage experience.
- Power Requirements: The hot tub operates with an 1800-watt (110-120 volt) power pack. The heater requires 1200 watts of electricity, and the bubbles require 600 watts. It is recommended to connect the hot tub directly to a designated 20 AMP plug when in use. If an extension cord is necessary, use a 12/3 extension cord.
4. Maintenance and Care
Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and hygienic operation of your hot tub.
- Filter Cartridges: The hot tub includes 3 filter cartridges and 2 filter cartridge covers. Regularly clean and replace the filters to maintain water quality.
- Control Box Reset: Switch the control box off every 48 hours to allow temperatures to cool and reset. This helps maintain optimal performance.
- Cover Usage: Always use the fitted polyurethane cover, which features a foil underside to keep water warm and lock in heat. Secure it in place with the buckles provided.
- Temperature Guidelines: Avoid leaving your spa out at temperatures lower than 40°F (4°C) to prevent damage.
- Storage: The hot tub quickly inflates and deflates for easy storage when not in use or during colder months.
5. Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your ALEKO Hot Tub, refer to the following common troubleshooting tips:
- Heating Issues:
- Ensure the hot tub is properly covered with the included fitted cover during heating to minimize heat loss.
- Verify that the hot tub is connected to a designated 20 AMP electrical outlet. Insufficient power supply can affect heating performance.
- If using an extension cord, confirm it is a 12/3 gauge cord to handle the power requirements (1200W heater, 600W bubbler).
- Allow sufficient time for heating; the rate is 1-3°F per hour, and full heating can take 48 hours or more depending on initial water temperature and ambient conditions.
- If the heater is not functioning, ensure the control box has been reset by switching it off for a period (e.g., 48 hours) and then back on.
- Water Level Drop (Possible Leak):
- Inspect the hot tub's surface and seams for any visible punctures or tears.
- Check all connections, including the air valve and filter housing, for secure seals.
- Use the provided repair kit for minor punctures. For significant damage, contact customer support.
- Bubbler Not Working:
- Ensure the hot tub is properly powered and the bubbler function is activated on the digital control panel.
- Check for any obstructions in the air jets.
