- Always ensure the appliance is unplugged before assembly, disassembly, or cleaning.
- Do not immerse the motor base in water or other liquids.
- Keep hands and utensils out of the container while blending to reduce the risk of severe injury to persons or damage to the blender.
- Blades are sharp. Handle with care.
- Do not blend hot liquids as pressure buildup may result in injury.
- Ensure the cup and blade assembly are securely locked onto the motor base before operating.
- The FreshVac Pump requires 6 AA batteries. Ensure correct polarity when installing.
What's Included

Setup Instructions
- Unpack Components: Carefully remove all parts from the packaging.
- Initial Cleaning: Wash all cups, lids, and blade assemblies in warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and air dry. Wipe the motor base with a damp cloth.
- Position Motor Base: Place the motor base on a clean, dry, and level surface. The suction cups on the bottom will help secure it.
- Install FreshVac Pump Batteries: Open the battery compartment on the FreshVac Pump and insert 6 AA batteries, ensuring correct polarity. Close the compartment securely.
- Assemble Cup:
- Add your desired ingredients to a FreshVac Cup. Do not fill past the MAX FILL line.
- Screw the Pro Extractor Blades Assembly onto the top of the cup until tightly sealed.
- Place on Motor Base: Invert the assembled cup and place it onto the motor base, aligning the tabs on the cup with the slots on the base. Twist clockwise until it locks into place.

Operating Instructions
Using FreshVac Technology
The FreshVac Pump removes oxygen from the cup before blending, which can help preserve vitamins, flavors, and colors. Use the FreshVac pump BEFORE blending.
- After adding ingredients and screwing on the blade assembly, attach the FreshVac Pump to the valve on the top of the cup.
- Press the button on the FreshVac Pump. It will automatically remove air from the cup.
- The pump will stop automatically when the vacuum is complete. Remove the pump from the cup.
- Proceed with blending as described below.

Blending with Auto-iQ Programs
Auto-iQ programs feature unique timed pulsing, blending, and pausing patterns that do the work for you. The BL580 offers "SMOOTHIE" and "EXTRACT" programs.
- Ensure the assembled cup is securely locked onto the motor base.
- Plug in the power cord. The control panel will illuminate.
- Select your desired Auto-iQ program:
- SMOOTHIE: Ideal for creating smooth, creamy beverages from fresh or frozen ingredients.
- EXTRACT: Designed to break down tough ingredients, unlocking nutrients and vitamins from fruits and vegetables.
- Press the button for the chosen program. The program will run automatically and stop when complete.
- Once blending is finished, twist the cup counter-clockwise to unlock and lift it from the base.
- Remove the blade assembly and attach a spout lid for on-the-go convenience.

Manual Speed Control
For manual control over your blending, use the PULSE and START/STOP buttons.
- PULSE: Provides short bursts of blending. Press and hold for continuous pulsing, release to stop. Useful for chopping or quick mixing.
- START/STOP: Press to begin continuous blending. Press again to stop.
Care and Maintenance
Proper care ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your Nutri Ninja BL580 Blender.
- Motor Base: Unplug the unit before cleaning. Wipe the motor base with a clean, damp cloth. Do not immerse the motor base in water.
- Cups, Lids, and Blade Assembly: These components are dishwasher safe (top rack only). For hand washing, use warm, soapy water and a non-abrasive brush. Handle blades with extreme caution.
- FreshVac Pump: Wipe the exterior of the pump with a damp cloth. Do not immerse in water. Ensure the silicone seal on the pump and the valve on the cups are clean and free of debris for effective vacuum sealing.
- Storage: Store the blender upright with the cup and blade assembly detached or securely locked. Keep the FreshVac Pump in a dry place.
Troubleshooting
