5.1 Wiring Installation

WARNING: Ensure power is disconnected at the circuit breaker before proceeding with wiring. Incorrect wiring can cause electric shock or damage to the device.

1. Identify the Live (L) and Neutral (N) wires from your power source and to your appliance/light.
2. Connect the Live (L) input wire to the 'Input L' terminal on the switch module.
3. Connect the Neutral (N) input wire to the 'Input N' terminal on the switch module.
4. Connect the Live (L) output wire (to your appliance/light) to the 'Output L' terminal on the switch module.
5. Connect the Neutral (N) output wire (to your appliance/light) to the 'Output N' terminal on the switch module.
6. Ensure all connections are secure. The module features robust, lever-operated connectors for easy and secure wire insertion.

5.2 App Installation and Device Pairing

1. Download App: Download the 'Tuya Smart' or 'Smart Life' app from your smartphone's app store (available on iOS and Android).
2. Register/Login: Open the app and register for a new account or log in if you already have one.
3. Enter Pairing Mode: After wiring, restore power to the module. Press and hold the pairing button on the eMylo switch module for approximately 5-10 seconds until the indicator light starts blinking rapidly. This indicates it is in pairing mode.
4. Add Device: In the app, tap the '+' icon (usually in the top right corner) to add a new device. Select 'Electrical' > 'Switch (Wi-Fi)' or 'Socket (Wi-Fi)'.
5. Connect to Wi-Fi: Confirm the indicator light is blinking rapidly. Enter your 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network password. The device does not support 5GHz Wi-Fi networks.
6. Complete Pairing: The app will search for and connect to the device. Once connected, you can rename the device and assign it to a room.
