2. Safety Information

4. Assembly and Setup

The Tusk UTV Lift is designed for easy assembly. Follow these steps carefully:

2. Attach Wheels (if not pre-installed): Secure the 5-inch wheels to the designated points on the lift frame using the provided hardware. Ensure they are tightly fastened for stability and mobility.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1. Preparing for Lift

• Position the UTV lift on a firm, level surface.
• Ensure there is adequate clearance around the UTV and the lift for safe operation.
• Drive or push the UTV onto the lift platforms, ensuring it is centered and stable.
• Engage the UTV's parking brake and place it in park (if applicable).
• Connect an air compressor to the lift's air inlet. The lift requires a stable air supply for pneumatic operation.

5.2. Lifting the UTV

1. Ensure the safety lock mechanism is disengaged (if it was previously engaged).
2. Slowly activate the lift control valve to begin raising the UTV.
3. Monitor the UTV's stability as it rises. Adjust positioning if necessary.
4. Once the desired height is reached (up to 28 inches), engage the 4-position safety lock mechanism. This is critical for safety.
5. After engaging the safety locks, slowly release the hydraulic pressure until the lift rests securely on the safety locks.

5.3. Lowering the UTV

1. Ensure all work under the UTV is complete and tools are removed.
2. Slightly raise the UTV off the safety locks by activating the lift control valve.
3. Disengage the 4-position safety lock mechanism.
4. Slowly and carefully release the hydraulic pressure to lower the UTV. Ensure a controlled descent.
5. Once the UTV is fully lowered, disconnect the air supply.

6. Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and safe operation of your Tusk UTV Lift.

• Lubrication: Periodically lubricate all pivot points and moving parts with appropriate grease.
