3. Setup Guide

3.1 Charging the Headset

Before first use, fully charge the headset. The charging port is a Micro USB port located on the side of the neckband.

  1. Locate the Micro USB charging port on the headset (refer to Image 3.1).
  2. Gently open the rubber cover protecting the charging port.
  3. Connect the provided USB charging cable to the headset and a compatible USB power source (e.g., computer USB port, wall adapter).
  4. The indicator light will illuminate during charging. It typically takes approximately 3.5 hours for a full charge.
  5. Once fully charged, the indicator light may change color or turn off. Disconnect the charging cable and close the rubber cover to protect the port.

Pair your headset with your device to enable wireless audio and calls.

  1. Ensure the headset is powered off.
  2. Press and hold the Multi-function button (often the call answer/hang-up button) until the indicator light flashes red and blue alternately, indicating pairing mode.
  3. On your smartphone or Bluetooth-enabled device, go to the Bluetooth settings and turn Bluetooth on.
  4. Search for available devices. The headset should appear as "BEARTWO SX-991" or a similar name.
  5. Select the headset from the list to connect. Once paired, the indicator light will typically flash blue slowly or remain solid blue.
  6. If prompted for a passcode, enter "0000".
