Maintenance

To ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your alarm clock, follow these simple maintenance guidelines:

  • Cleaning: Gently wipe the display and casing with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners, solvents, or chemical sprays, as these may damage the surface.
  • Placement: Place the clock on a stable, flat surface away from direct sunlight, excessive heat, moisture, or strong magnetic fields.
  • Power: Always use the provided power adapter. Disconnect from power during electrical storms or when not in use for extended periods.
  • Battery Replacement: Replace the AAA backup batteries annually or if you notice settings are not retained during power interruptions.

Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your alarm clock, please refer to the following common problems and solutions:

ProblemPossible CauseSolution
Display is blank. No AC power; backup batteries are for memory only, not display.Ensure the power adapter is securely plugged into the clock and a working wall outlet.
Alarm does not sound.Alarm is not activated; alarm volume is too low (not adjustable on this model, but check if it's muted by external factors).Verify that the A1 or A2 indicator is visible on the display. If not, press the corresponding AL ON/OFF button to activate. Ensure the clock is receiving AC power.
Time/settings are lost after power outage.Backup batteries are not installed or are depleted.Install two fresh AAA batteries in the battery compartment.
USB charging ports not working.Clock is not connected to AC power; device cable is faulty; device requires more than 1A.Ensure the clock is plugged into AC power. Try a different USB cable. Note that the ports provide 5V/1A; some devices may charge slower or not at all if they require higher current.
Cannot turn off alarm with certain buttons.Incorrect button pressed.Only "SET", "A1·2", or "AL1/ON-OFF" buttons will turn off the alarm. "SNOOZE", "▼", "▲", and "AL2/ON-OFF" will not.
