Safety Instructions and Precautions

• Indoor Use Only: This enclosure is designed for indoor use. Avoid prolonged outdoor exposure to prevent material degradation.
• Animal Suitability: This playpen is specifically designed for small pets that do not jump very high, such as guinea pigs, hamsters, and hedgehogs. It is not suitable for dogs or cats. For rabbits or ferrets, consider increasing the height by combining two sets or placing the enclosure against a wall to prevent escapes.
• Chewing Prevention: Although the corners are designed to minimize gaps, it is recommended to add a mat around the base and cover any joints to deter chewing and prevent escapes, especially for animals prone to gnawing.
• Secure Assembly: During assembly, ensure all panel corners are fully inserted into the connectors for maximum stability and security. A clicking sound indicates a secure connection.
• Cable Tie Usage: Use the provided cable ties to further secure connections between adjacent panels, enhancing overall stability.
• Level Surface: Always place the playpen on a flat, stable surface.

Setup and Assembly Instructions

1. Unpack Components: Carefully remove all panels, connectors, cable ties, and the mallet from the packaging.
2. Plan Your Layout: Determine the desired shape and size of your playpen. The panels can be arranged in various configurations (e.g., rectangular, L-shape).
3. Connect Panels: Insert the edges of the plastic panels into the slots of the plastic connectors. Ensure the smooth side of the panels faces inwards for easier cleaning and to prevent pets from climbing. Push firmly until a click is heard, indicating a secure connection.

4. Use the Mallet: For a tighter and more secure fit, gently tap the connectors with the provided rubber mallet after inserting the panels. This helps reduce gaps between panels and ensures stability.

5. Reinforce with Cable Ties: Use the cable ties to further secure the connections between panels, especially at corners and along longer sections, to prevent accidental disassembly.
6. Add Floor Panels: The enclosure includes floor panels to protect your flooring. Arrange these panels at the base of the playpen.
7. Final Check: Once assembled, gently push on all sides to ensure the structure is firm and stable. Check for any loose connections.
