Setup
1. Mounting the Headlight
The NiteRider Pro 2200 Race can be mounted on your bicycle's handlebar or helmet.
Handlebar Mount Installation:
- Position the handlebar mount on your desired location on the handlebar.
- Secure the mount firmly using the provided fasteners. Ensure it is tight enough to prevent movement during riding.
- Slide the headlight unit onto the mount until it clicks into place.

Helmet Mount Installation:
- Attach the helmet mount to your helmet using the appropriate straps or adhesive (if applicable).
- Slide the headlight unit onto the helmet mount until it clicks into place.
- Adjust the angle of the light to your preference.
2. Connecting the Battery Pack
The 4-cell Lithium Ion battery pack powers the headlight.
- Locate a suitable position on your bike frame for the battery pack, typically using the provided straps.
- Secure the battery pack firmly to the frame.
- Connect the cable from the battery pack to the headlight unit. Ensure the connection is snug to prevent accidental disconnection.

Operating Instructions
The NiteRider Pro 2200 Race features a single power button and an 8-level fuel gauge.

Power On/Off:
- To turn the light ON, press and hold the power button for approximately 1-2 seconds.
- To turn the light OFF, press and hold the power button for approximately 1-2 seconds until the light extinguishes.
Mode Selection:
The light offers 7 modes, including 4 distinct light levels. Once the light is on, short presses of the power button will cycle through the available modes.
- High: Maximum brightness (2200 lumens) for demanding conditions.
- Medium: Balanced brightness for general riding.
- Low: Extended runtime for less demanding situations.
- Flash Modes: Various flashing patterns for increased visibility.

Fuel Gauge:
The integrated 8-level fuel gauge provides real-time battery status. The LEDs on top of the light unit indicate the remaining battery charge. Each illuminated LED represents a portion of the total battery capacity. Monitor this gauge to anticipate charging needs.
Charging
To charge the 4-cell Lithium Ion battery pack:
- Ensure the light is turned off.
- Connect the AC charger to the battery pack's charging port.
- Plug the AC charger into a standard wall outlet.
- The fuel gauge LEDs may indicate charging status. Refer to the charger's indicator light for full charge notification.
- Once fully charged, disconnect the charger from the battery and the wall outlet.
Note: Use only the provided NiteRider charger to prevent damage to the battery and light.
Maintenance
- Cleaning: Wipe the light unit and battery pack with a damp cloth. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
- Storage: Store the light and battery in a cool, dry place when not in use. For long-term storage, charge the battery to approximately 50% every few months to maintain battery health.
- Water Resistance: The Pro 2200 Race is rated IP64, meaning it is protected against dust ingress and splashing water from any direction. It is not designed for submersion.
- Cable Inspection: Periodically check all cables and connectors for wear or damage. Replace any damaged components immediately.
