3. Setup
3.1 Initial Charge
- Connect the included wall charger to the tablet's charging port.
- Plug the charger into a power outlet.
- Allow the tablet to charge for at least 4 hours before first use, or until the battery indicator shows a full charge.
3.2 Powering On/Off
- To Power On: Press and hold the Power button located on the side of the tablet until the Ematic logo appears on the screen.
- To Power Off: Press the Power button briefly to bring up the power options on the screen, then select 'Shut down'. Alternatively, press and hold the Power button for several seconds until the 'Slide to shut down your PC' option appears, then slide down.
3.3 First-Time Windows 10 Setup
- Upon first power-on, the tablet will guide you through the Windows 10 setup process.
- Follow the on-screen prompts to select your region, language, and keyboard layout.
- Connect to a Wi-Fi network when prompted. This is crucial for completing the setup and receiving updates.
