1. Product Overview

The Artis BT918 is a versatile and portable 12-inch Karaoke Bluetooth PA System, engineered to deliver powerful audio with its 80W RMS output. 2. Setup Guide

2.1 Unpacking

Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Ensure all items listed below are present:

• 1 x Artis BT918 Bluetooth Trolley Speaker/PA system
• 2 x Wireless Microphones
• 1 x Slim Remote Control
• 1 x Charging Cable with Adapter
• 1 x User Manual (this document)

2.2 Charging the Speaker

Before first use, fully charge the speaker. The speaker is equipped with a 6600mAh Lithium Polymer battery.

1. Connect the charging cable to the speaker's charging port.
2. Plug the adapter into a standard power outlet.
3. The LED indicator will show charging status. Charge until the indicator shows a full charge.
4. Disconnect the charger once fully charged to preserve battery life.

2.3 Initial Connection

To begin using your Artis BT918 speaker, follow these steps:

1. Ensure the speaker is charged or connected to a power source.
2. Turn on the speaker using the power switch, usually located on the rear control panel.
3. The speaker will typically enter Bluetooth pairing mode automatically upon startup.

3. Operating Instructions

3.1 Control Panel Functions

The main control panel is located on the rear of the speaker, providing access to all input modes and audio adjustments.

• Volume Control: Adjusts the overall master volume.
• Mode Button: Cycles through input modes (Bluetooth, USB, TF Card, FM, Aux).
• Track Controls: Previous/Next track buttons for media playback.
• Bass Control: Adjusts the low-frequency output.
• Treble Control: Adjusts the high-frequency output.
• Mic. In: Port for wired microphones (if used).
• Guitar In: Port for connecting a guitar.
• Digital LED Display: Shows current mode, track number, or FM frequency.

3.2 Bluetooth Mode

To connect your device via Bluetooth:

1. Turn on the speaker. It will automatically enter Bluetooth pairing mode, indicated by a flashing Bluetooth icon or voice prompt.
2. On your mobile device (smartphone, tablet, etc.), enable Bluetooth and search for available devices.
3. Select "Artis BT918" from the list of devices.
4. Once connected, the speaker will confirm the connection, and you can begin playing audio.

3.3 USB/TF Card Mode

To play audio from a USB drive or TF (MicroSD) card:

1. Insert a USB drive or TF card containing MP3 audio files into the respective port on the control panel.
2. The speaker will automatically switch to USB or TF Card mode. If not, press the "Mode" button until the correct mode is selected.
3. Playback will begin automatically. Use the track controls to navigate through songs.

3.4 FM Radio Mode

To use the built-in FM radio:

1. Press the "Mode" button until "FM" is displayed on the LED screen.
2. Press the Play/Pause button to initiate an automatic scan for available FM stations. The speaker will save all found stations.
3. Use the Previous/Next track buttons to switch between saved FM stations.

3.5 Microphone Usage

The Artis BT918 comes with two wireless microphones for karaoke and announcements.

1. Ensure the microphones have fresh batteries installed.
2. Turn on the microphones using their respective power switches.
3. The microphones will automatically connect to the speaker.
4. Adjust the microphone volume and echo effects using the dedicated controls on the speaker's control panel.

3.6 RGB Lights

The speaker features dynamic RGB lights on the front woofer to enhance the ambiance.

The RGB lights typically activate automatically when the speaker is on. You can usually control their on/off state or change patterns using the remote control.

3.7 Remote Control

The included slim remote control provides convenient access to various functions from a distance.

• Power: Turn the speaker On/Off.
• Mode: Switch between input sources.
• Volume +/-: Adjust master volume.
• Mute: Mute/unmute audio.
• Play/Pause: Control media playback.
• Previous/Next: Skip tracks or change FM stations.
• EQ: Select preset equalizer modes.
• Light Control: Turn RGB lights On/Off or change modes.

4. Maintenance and Care

4.1 Cleaning

To maintain the appearance and functionality of your speaker:

• Always turn off and unplug the speaker before cleaning.
• Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe down the exterior surfaces.
• For stubborn marks, lightly dampen the cloth with water; avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
• Do not allow water or liquids to enter any openings.

4.2 Storage

When not in use for extended periods:

• Store the speaker in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
• If storing for a long time, charge the battery to about 50% every 3-6 months to prevent deep discharge and prolong battery life.

4.3 Battery Care

To maximize the lifespan of the internal Lithium Polymer battery:

• Avoid completely draining the battery frequently.
• Do not expose the speaker to temperatures above 60°C (140°F).
• Use only the provided charging cable and adapter.
