2. Setup Guide
2.1. Charging the Units
Before initial use, ensure both the transmitter (WL-T) and receiver (WL-20R) units are fully charged. Connect the transmitter to the receiver, then connect the receiver to a standard USB power adapter (5V/0.5A or higher) using a micro USB cable. The POWER indicator will illuminate red during charging and turn green when fully charged. A full charge typically provides approximately 10 hours of continuous operation.

2.2. Pairing and Connection
The WL-20 system is designed for automatic pairing. To establish a connection:
- Ensure both the transmitter and receiver are charged.
- Connect the transmitter (WL-T) to the receiver (WL-20R) by plugging the transmitter's 1/4-inch jack into the receiver's input.
- The POWER/RECEIVE indicators on both units will blink, then turn solid green, indicating a successful pairing and connection.
- Once paired, disconnect the transmitter from the receiver. The connection will remain active.

3. Operation
3.1. Connecting to Your Instrument and Amplifier
After pairing, connect the units as follows:
- Plug the WL-T transmitter into your instrument's output jack.
- Plug the WL-20R receiver into the input of your amplifier, pedal, or audio interface.
- Ensure your instrument and amplifier are powered on. The POWER/RECEIVE indicators on both WL-20 units should be solid green, indicating an active connection.

3.2. Cable Tone Simulation
The WL-20 features a built-in cable tone simulation that emulates the subtle tonal characteristics of a 10-foot (3-meter) instrument cable. This ensures that your instrument's tone remains consistent with what you would expect from a traditional wired connection. This feature is always active and does not require any user configuration.
