Safety Information
Always observe basic safety precautions when using power tools to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, and personal injury.
- Work Area Safety: Keep your work area clean and well-lit. Cluttered or dark areas invite accidents. Do not operate power tools in explosive atmospheres, such as in the presence of flammable liquids, gases, or dust.
- Electrical Safety: Avoid body contact with earthed or grounded surfaces such as pipes, radiators, ranges, and refrigerators. There is an increased risk of electric shock if your body is earthed or grounded.
- Personal Safety: Always wear eye protection. Use appropriate safety equipment such as dust masks, non-skid safety shoes, hard hats, or hearing protection when necessary. Dress properly; avoid loose clothing or jewelry. Keep hair, clothing, and gloves away from moving parts.
- Tool Use and Care: Do not force the power tool. Use the correct power tool for your application. It will do the job better and safer at the rate for which it was designed. Disconnect the plug from the power source and/or the battery pack from the power tool before making any adjustments, changing accessories, or storing power tools.
- Battery Pack Use and Care: Recharge only with the charger specified by the manufacturer. A charger that is suitable for one type of battery pack may create a risk of fire when used with another battery pack.

Setup and Bit Installation
Proper bit installation is crucial for safe and effective operation.
- Ensure the screwdriver is turned off and the forward/reverse switch is in the neutral (locked) position before installing or removing bits.
- Select the appropriate screwdriver bit for your task from the included 9-piece set. For extended reach, use the 3-inch magnetic bit holder.
- Insert the shank of the chosen bit directly into the screwdriver's chuck until it is securely seated. If using the magnetic bit holder, insert the bit into the holder first, then insert the holder into the chuck.
- Gently pull on the bit to ensure it is firmly held and will not fall out during operation.
Operating Instructions
Follow these steps for safe and efficient use of your cordless screwdriver.
- Select Direction: Use the forward/reverse switch to select the desired rotation direction. Push the switch forward for driving screws (clockwise) and backward for removing screws (counter-clockwise). The center position locks the trigger.
- Positioning: Place the tip of the screwdriver bit firmly into the head of the screw.
- Operation: Squeeze the trigger to start the screwdriver. The integrated LED work light will illuminate the work area. Apply steady, even pressure to the screwdriver to prevent cam-out (the bit slipping from the screw head).
- Stopping: Release the trigger to stop the screwdriver.
